As I said, I haven't read nearly enough of Elcenia to feel comfortable playing this. But if you don't mind copying me in on at least setup info, I'd love to be an observer.

I really want to do this. I am not currently revising my opinion of your creativity; I know it’s high enough for more tricks.

I expect your RNG to completely ignore that I want a role which gets lots of information (e.g., the Sherlock from last game), so I’m fine with saying that publicly. I also expect that the information-gathering mechanics available in setting are a lot higher than those available in game, because having a (sane) vampire hearer or an always-on lie-detecting spell would be a complete gamebreaker.

If you manage to have either of these which works approximately as well as in the story and does not break the game, I will revise my opinion of your creativity. I’ll never do it again, though, because it will be stuck at “about infinite”. Caveats for if you contrive to have few inanimate objects available to people or if some of the game takes place offworld are obvious.

I expect that there is too much Elcenia for “reading Elcenia” to be completable before game time. I’ve read all the books twice and still haven’t read all the setting information etc.

i HAVE! and in fact my current goal is to finish as much elcenia as possible before it gets spoiled for me by the game XD
