oh, sorry. I thought "this is a test" would have been valid night actions when you don't have any.

edit:

day 3: "Nothing, because I have no powers."

i still get "this is a test" for 4, and 5/6, so probably yet another key for those. when i was using the website it was easiest to just use whatever key it gave me, so a different one each time. i believe that the others also say nothing.

I still think Tau is one of the people I'm most suspicious of. My suspicions aren't particularly well founded but I have to go off something. So, vote tau . If anyone can lay out reasoning why another user is more likely to be mafia and I agree with it I'll change my vote.

Ok, I do have one bit of confusion and suspicion. I know I shouldn't have brought it up in the first place, but BlueSkySprite has denied repeatedly that she has an extra vote, but she clearly has an extra vote in one way or another -- last night included. And last night she was the only person that extra vote could have come from. I don't know why she keeps denying it -- I don't know why she would do so, and this is rather suspicious. So, vote BlueSkySprite unless she explains.

If she isn't mafia, claiming it outright would make her more likely to be a mafia target. If she was mafia, it would be advantageous for her to claim it as soon as someone asks about it because transparency reduces suspicion.

I'm not certain that's true -- if her role claim doesn't match her powers then we've caught her in a lie, and she's likely mafia, and so she won't claim. If she were town, there would be no reason to lie about her powers when they're pretty clearly there. I've already (foolishly) drawn the attention, she has nothing to gain by hiding who she is unless she's mafia.

That is good reasoning and it does make me suspicious.

My dilemma is that the mafia have probably prepared good defenses in case they get accused. And I think we've had a trend of not voting to kill people who make good defenses and end up killing townies who don't log on enough. I think not defending oneself when accused, or acting shocked when accused, is something town would do.

But then, on the other hand, the mafia probably know this too. Sharing my suspicion masked the mafia more likely to adopt that strategy. There's also the thing where people say "I won't vote for them until they've had a chance to defend themselves" which is incentivizing mafia to not defend themselves.

You can see when people were last online and she hasn't been on since you accused her. Lurkers Ardmore suspicious and I still agree with the first paragraph I said more. She was so shocked at the beginning and I don't think that's a very mafia thing.
