Invent new games here in this thread.
Blessings for Blessings
The dealer picks one blessing from their bowl and puts it face up in the centre of the circle. Each other person in turn puts a blessing that they feel matches it in some way without being the same -- maybe if it was coru then they play another coru blessing, or maybe they play a blessing that they feel is its opposite, or one that would be interesting or funny to receive at the same time as the first one. It is up to each person to decide what blessing would match another and in what way it would match. After everyone has placed their blessing, the dealer picks the one they liked the best, and the person who had chosen that one gets a point.
Then the next person is dealer.

Mystery Blessings
The person who's turn it is draws a blessing. Everyone else asks yes or no questions about the blessing to try to determine which it is. ("Is it a sweela blessing?", "Would it be a good blessing to draw at your wedding?", "Would this be an appropriate birth blessing for a painter?", etc) The first person to correctly guess the blessing takes it as a point token and then takes over.

Tamien: Hmm... does this blessing-drawing get influence by the usual blessing-drawing magic? I.e. if it's Kiri's turn could we just pretty much guarantee it's not Grace?
Also, is Kiri going to draw Grace right before she peals? Power probably tops it, but she's totally going to magic away her clumsiness as soon as that's possible.
(Oops, that sounds like an actual discussion-opener about something other than the games. My brain just wandered that way, sorry.)

Hmm, I figured they would draw it from their bowls, but even then I guess it might be affected. If it would be, maybe reverse the game: everyone draws a blessing, and shows everyone else what it is, but doesn't look at it themselves. They go around the circle, each asking the others a yes or no question to try to figure out what their own blessing is. Whoever figures out what their blessing is first, wins the round. It doesn't fix the nonrandom blessings, but it might make it a bit more challenging to compensate?
To someone with better game-design sensibilities than I have: is there a way to make a blessing bowls version of Scrabble? Something about them being little tiles with symbols on them really makes me think Scrabble.

Does the Blessing-drawing magic works if the blessing are writen as words or different symbols or maybe something like a card with the symbol and the word?
How about something like checkers, each player with a element? Maybe some special rule for birth-blessings...
I gues that Blessing-Chess (each blessing with a skill/move) would be too complicated?
