How do people feel about getting snippets of incomplete chapters?

I have some of Goldmage chapter 9 written, although I don't expect to finish until upsilonbeta hands over the workflow-correcting program he's writing me. I could post the italicized first section here (well, in Spoilerland) if people would like.

i am excited about snippets.

i have sometimes found that if i tell a story before i finish writing it, it is harder to write it because the story is already told. if that is a problem for you, then i dont want snippets. but if there can be snippets without making the writing process harder, i am in favour of them.

I don't have that problem or I'd have much more trouble with beta-reading the way I do it! I can't be observed on the level of the word or I get self-conscious about the act of typing, but paragraphs and up are all fine.
