How can we use our God (THE REAL ONE, NOT THESE EVIL DEMONIC MODS WHO CALL THEMSELVES GODS) - Given powers, including some which are ALMOST CERTAINLY HERETICAL) to destroy the heretics?

I can't use my powers to destroy the heretics, but I can prevent the heretics from destroying you guys! I said this in the Quickforum, but every night, I will protect you from being lynched the next day. If I think someone else is under more suspicion than you, I'll discuss it here and possibly protect them instead.

pistachi0n, there seem to be two possible readings of your power:

1. It protects someone for a 24-hour period, starting at daybreak.
2. It protects someone during the *day only*.

This matters, for example if there's a vigilante or I assign a nightkill to our traitor by accident. Mods, which of these is the correct reading?

I asked the mods for clarification after they sent my power role.

-It only protects someone from lynching during the day.
-I submit it the night before. So if I see people piling up on someone and I protected someone else, too late.

well, i guess it's best to keep it on our leader unless someone we think suspicions from the previous day are likely to carry over to the next day. for example if tamien was looking super sketchy but successfully got everyone to pile onto kappa, and then kappa turns out to be innocent after all, tamien will probably be looking sketchy again, so tamien should probably be protected the next day. but aside from that, yeah, keep our supreme leader safe.

should we all know who is being protected, or should we trust pistachi0n's judgement? I'm might be leaning towards the second thing -- if pistachi0n isn't the traitor and if we have to keep the traitor guessing as to who is protected (Even if they can probably make a good guess) that might be a good thing.

I plan on discussing it with you guys unless you don't want me to.

So, it looks like pistachi0n and Tamien should not use their powers on Tulip!

Two further thoughts:

1. It looks like we can exploit Tulip's power to get pistachi0n killed whenever we want. This is very convenient.
2. Tulip's power would *also* be very convenient for a traitor to have. Just saying.

No. I only want to die by lynching. I won't win if Tulip kills me. You should use it to start a wagon against me as a tactical advantage in a few days.

Edit: I found out I can die from Tulip, which is more convenient.

The big thing I'm thinking with my power is that, if we can subtly convince an investigator to go after me in a not-totally-obvious fashion, it'll be a huge boost for us. It'd be suspicious if it happened immediately after any obvious "HEY, UNKNOWN INVESTIGATOR, GO LOOK AT TULIP"—that would get both myself and whoever made that claim highlighted as suspects—but it seems worthwhile to brainstorm a way to make me attractive to the investigator without doing anything publicly heavy-handed like that.

maybe try looking slightly suspicious but not, you know, suspicious enough to get everyone to vote for you? I'm not sure how to go about that though :/

edit: maybe ramp up the sketchy really really slowly so that you can dial it down before anyone gets too suspicious
