Kappa is going to appear at my house any minute now, and stay through the end of April. When Aestrix has spring break, we may be able to secure a visit from her. Marri is potentially able to visit then too. I have heard rumor that Plain Dealing Villain will be moving hereabouts next month. Who knows what other confluences of glowitude we may be able to concoct?

So my question (to other glowficcers and to those who just read) is this: should we turn this into a teeny little convention? What features should a ConStellation have? (This name is taken, I think twice, but I don't care.)

You just can't gather so much glowitude in the same place! You will doom us all!!!!

Well, I don't think any sort of nerd gathering is complete without DnD RPing session, clearly with DnD versions of our beloved characters.

I think a gathering should happen. I have no further opinion on it as I won’t be able to attend the gathering, but it would be a shame if it didn’t happen.

I would have called a glowcon a Concordance.

I'm a pretty huge fan of this idea, partially because after reading so much of what you all have written (Alicorn and others) I would greatly enjoy a chance to meet/hang out with you all in person, and partially because I love discussing fiction in general and find doing it in person much easier than doing it online.

On the other hand, I live ~700 miles from the Bay Area, and while I do occasionally have both professional and personal reasons to visit, I also often have reasons why I can't. So... love the idea, and I can't make a stronger commitment than "I'll make it if I can"?

The rumors are true and I like this idea a lot.

Same, but Brazil, so I don't even have a pet kangaroo like every single australian does.

I feel that the Grand Glowfic Gathering really needs a lot of Glow-in-the-dark objects and decorations.
