So in Daevinity we have 3 classes of Daeva and when summoners die they become one.

I was thinking what kind of Daevas Effulgence characters would end up, and also what kind you would be.

The Daevas are:
*Angels: They can transform things and typically have feather wings. Supposedly the personality type is people that try to "improve things that already exist". Live in Heaven.
*Fairies: They can move things around and typically have insect wings. There isn't a specific stated personality as far I read, except that "most people are fairies". They live in Fairyland.
*Demons: They can create things (but not change or destroy them) and typically have leathery wings. The personality type would be something that matches "creating things out of nothing". LIve in Hell, which is much nicer than the name implies.

I keep changing my mind for what fits me better... I currently waving between Angel and Fairy.

Cam end up a Demon, Tony and Sherlock as Angels.

I think that Libbies would be Fairies, Nathan too. I can't help but think that Alice would be a Fairy as well, but I think it is her pixie cut xD

Elspeth is sort of a tie between Fairy and Angel.

I think that Matildas should end up as Angels.

Jokers are complicated and I keep finding problems for each classification that pleases me.

I'm inclined to peg Jokers as strongly angelic. More "changing" than "improving", but otherwise a good fit.

True-ish, albeit he wouldn't quite fit the mold like Demon Cam...

...what I am saying, of course the Joker wouldn't fit the mold.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jokers turn into unique type of Daevar, they are just like that.

My thoughts on my templates:

Tonies are probably almost universally angels, but it's conceivable that one could be a demon.

Sherlocks are likely to end up where their Tonies do for template reasons; I'm not sure where a Sherlock without a Tony would end up. Thinking about it now, though, I suspect they have the same distribution as Tonies - lots of angels, maybe some demons.

Matildas are likely to be fairies because of the strong template attractor for TK, but a Matilda could also be a demon or an angel. More likely to be a demon, I think.

Jokers are mostly angels, but with higher demon potential than Tonies, and probably few-to-none of them are fairies.

I haven't considered any other templates in depth.

Katran would almost certainly be a demon. Atrus could be either an angel or a demon. Gehn I have no idea about.

I guess that Kingfishers and Raynes wouldn't be angels, would they be Demons? I think that the template would make them stick together?

The Tony/Sherlock template pair has more leeway to arrange them that way. Kingfishers and Raynes are likely to each end up wherever their natural affinities put them. I haven't decided where that is. Kingfishers are also complicated by their major phase change - I think a Ripper and a Giles might end up as different daeva.

Now, I get it why Cam said that most people come off as fairies, it is far easier to fit people there.

Elspeth: The aurum one would be a Fairy, the template would be universally-fairy-and-some-angels.

Koyla and Lazarus: Similar to Elspeth, Koyla is mysterious enough that he could have "chances of angel and demon", but he comes off strongly as fairy and Lazarus might have more angels than Elspeth, but not by much.

Giles: Is more of a angel, becoming more angel-like due to Juliet (and buffy) influence. A Ripper wouldn't have much chance of being an angel, I would put them as Fairies. Raynes would be Fairies, they are too lazy for angels and demons xD

Griffins: Angels, straight up.
