And if everything feels light and floaty, you might be falling.

Loki peers at the pattern of the shape on the ground, produces a small scrap of paper from her pocket and a stub of pencil, and copies it out.
"Then the circle glows, brightening until it could rival the sun, humming and shaking the paper in Loki's hand. There is a buildup of energy of some kind...

"And then it stops, returning to as it was before.

"Except, now it contains two tiny women."

Is it not possible to summon a ship? Rhysel’s belongings were summoned, but that spell might have a maximum size or not handle movement well. Even though the ship is probably not particularly valuable in Elcenian terms, presumably his books and other things still are.

I imagine it would take a long time to clear a flat space big enough to draw a ship-sized circle on, and time is kind of of the essence here...

Time is of the essence, but I thought I remembered there being a large field near the Academy, and I don’t think drawing the circle should take 45 minutes. Maybe I misremember the field existing and am just thinking of the courtyard, which might be too small, especially if the ship is still attempting to move.

I did remember the field, but I imagine that it makes a relatively poor drawing surface. Also, if they summoned the ship, there would then be a great big bloody airship on their lawn. XD

After reading the Promise and Jenny sandbox I was wondering: If Promise got Jesus's name in a universe where Jesus and God exist, would she be able to issue orders to him/them?

Depends on the exact metaphysics of how their existence works.

Aslan's name, say?

I would expect not, though, in most cases.

What about the specific case of Aslan, under either the name Aslan or the name Jesus (or some other name)? What about other deities or really powerful entities, like Callahan or the Barashin gods?
