You can use a theme by logging in and setting it under "Account"? (I think.) Currently no support for logged-out users.

"kappa is bad at warnings" is meant to imply "shit goes down in this thread and comprehensively listing all of the shit is beyond the author's capacity, so rather than list it incompletely, I'm just going to warn you that there is definitely something here worth warning you about". I would be hesitant to include a list of reader-suggested warnings on top of that because I would rather warn more vaguely than warn more specifically but not be totally sure I got everything.

Yeah, I like that the warning is there, but I think NSFW would potentially be useful anyway. In any case I think the feature could be useful in general even if not much in this case.

It's under "Layout"? Set to "Default" by default, lots of people seem to like "Starry" theme variants.

It would be cool if "Your Templates" showed the nicknames and/or screennames of the instances below their names, since you are after all inevitably looking at a bunch of characters with the same name and going "okay, which default icon did I pick for the Sunny instance..."

ETA: Also, a broader question. Is there a reason for "your templates" and "your characters" to be separate pages? It seems like the most intuitive layout might actually be one "your characters" page, which you can switch between icon and list views. Icon view would be the current "your templates," with a "miscellaneous/no template" section at the bottom; list view would be the current "your characters" list view, which is already grouped by template just like the Your Templates page.

(This is the sort of question where I totally expect the answer to be at most "sure, maybe, in my copious free time, when I've solved all the actual issues.")

Wait, what do you mean "icon view would be current your-templates"?? My Your Templates page shows in list view and has no option to behave otherwise...

...huh. Mine is a bunch of icons, grouped by template, and has no option to go to list view.

To me it would make most sense to get rid of the third, and let you switch between the first two viewing modes on a single "My Characters" page.

On the Account page, there is a "Default view" dropdown with choices of Icon and List. Is that what you want?

In that case my suggestion becomes: (a) put icon view/list view buttons on "My Templates" like there are on "My Characters," (b) get rid of "My Characters," unless people are using it for something I'm not aware of.

(I think this is a good idea because the Constellation seems to broadly have a problem with having multiple similarly-named things without a clear distinction to help new users; see the "name/nickname/username" discussion a few posts back. "My Characters" seems to be a strictly less useful version of "My Templates," but it took me a while to figure that out.)

(In the long term, it would be cool to have "sort by template" be one option among many on that page: e.g., sort by world, sort by thread, sort by custom grouping. But that is definitely a long-term thing.)
