Help me pick screennames! (Contains Effulgence spoilers)

What sorts of things make Emma screennames? And is there anything in particular about *this* Emma that you wish to highlight?

Emma screennames generally highlight her tendency to be passive and something of a pushover xD see: parental_guidance and follow_the_leader. Her Kushiel and Sunday screennames are fairly specific to their worlds, but both at least peripherally reference the fact that she's a happy little language scholar.

World specifics: Pegasus!Emma gets Tirla's Talent because of the language attractor, but is otherwise from a fairly well off family who have been using her abilities to benefit themselves. When she is discovered by the Center they will attempt to leech off the Center as well, much as Peter's family did. Sadly I don't think the books ever named what Tirla did, so I have no useful word to reuse.. Alternately, Emma has a secondary attractor for prophetic dreams and I could make her a precog, but that works less well as a 'was not immediately obvious to her parents she had Talent'.

My immediate thought was "awaywithwords" but that seems to be taken. "a_way_with_words" is available. "wordforword" is also available, as is "word_for_word". "omniglot" is sadly taken. "universal_translator" is available. Nothing's coming to mind for pushovery names... Maybe "onlywhenspokento"? Both it and "only_when_spoken_to" are available (as are "whenspokento" and "when_spoken_to").

Hmm, goodmessenger, perfectmessenger, goodlittlemessenger, and the underscore versions are all available. Personally, I don't think any of those beat when_spoken_to.

Oooooooooh! So many good ideas, you all are the best <3 universal_translator and polylinguist/polylingual are both very tempting for Pegasus!Emma specifically. when_spoken_to I will go cuddle with until I have an Emma with slightly less spectacular language abilities who needs a screenname cause this unable-to-screenname-her problem is annoyingly consistent.

Fun fact: awaywithwords I initially parsed as "away with words".

I recommend you cuddle with when_spoken_to while actually possessing it. Otherwise somebody might take it while you’re cuddling. Then you’d have no cuddle partner and later you’d have a nameless Emma.

I have slurped it up successfully! Along with the screennames for Quinn Alli and Jenny, should they ever be used again: honestly_determined and joyful_soul. CUDDLE PILE.
