I'm going to vote for Aestrix because that seems like the best thing to do at this point considering the fact that we have no information to indicate otherwise.

Sure, I'll participate. It's a good way to get people talking and to get reads on people.
Listed are a handful characters that I think might be in the game and a suggested power or lack thereof. My role is among them. My speculations about how powers in a fictional universe could translate into something mafia related is influenced by people's powers in Effulgence Mafia.
Speculation
Arylla--Vanilla killer
Bryn--Vanilla townie
Cyranna--Vanilla townie
Hallai--Can steal one person's vote per day. Hallai gets a double vote and the vote of whoever they stole from doesn't count. Killer.
Kannat--Vanilla townie.
Kaylo--Once a night, can learn what someone else's powers do. Unlike Addy from the last game, it is purely investigative. Someone else suggested this and it makes a lot of sense.
Keo--Has a private communication channel with Kannat.
Leekath--Can learn one player's affiliation per night.
Rhysel--Has a double vote.
Samia--Vanilla killer
Talyn--Picks a person every night. Any actions used on them during that same night will not work.
Tyrrel--Vanilla townie
Also, I am going to unvote Aestrix. The advantage of randomly selecting people is that it puts them in the hot seat and forces them to defend themselves. For now, I'm satisfied with her response and her alternate suggestion that we get the lurkers to talk. Kappa's suggestion is an effective way to do that.
I edited because I realized one of my speculations sounded vaguer than it could be.

I know no more about how things are organized than anyone else, and misspoke when I said three a night; I meant three per cycle, with two deaths a night. With 20 people, things will take forever if only one person dies per night, so it's most likely that there are two killers. Three is also possible, but only if something weird makes them likely to fail. I'm definitely taking it for granted that something weird will be going on, but it is not that likely to be something that makes killers fail repeatedly.
I was going to say this yesterday, but three pages had passed and no one was talking about it any more, so I didn't bother.

I'm going to vote Aestrix like I precommitted to, but I'm putting it on the record that I expect this to end badly, since the odds are weighted in favor of her actually being town. It's a necessary cost of RNG-based lynching, though, and I do find the pro-day-one-lynch argument to be convincing.
I am not going to participate in the name-and-power-association game, although I agree that it's a good idea and encourage everyone who can to do it; it's been approximately a year since I read the two books that I've read at all, I've forgotten the details of the vast majority of the characters who haven't shown up in the sandboxes, and I don't feel like I'd be able to plausibly hide which role in the list is my real one without more story background than I can get out of the dramatis personae.

As described, here is my list of characters I think might plausibly appear and powers I think they might plausibly have.
If I am town-affiliated, I will describe my own real power attached to my own real character in this list. (People who are participating in this scheme, please explicitly make this statement attached to your list. Otherwise it will be hard to tell if you are doing the thing.)
It occurred to me that any non-town roles I put down will not contribute to disguising my actual town role (if I have one) (which of course I do), so all of these are people I think might plausibly be town-affiliated.
My list
Rhysel : Doctor, vigilante (envision her setting people on fire at night, it's great)
Keo : Investigative (determines someone's character and affiliation), can add 1 person/night to private communication channel
Talyn : Vigilante, voteblocker (no way he'd be investigative, when has Talyn ever known what he was doing)
Leekath : Investigative (determines what actions someone has taken)
Sashpark : Investigative (determines affiliation) (she's writing a detective story about our exploits!) (she can also tell with 100% accuracy whether or not you are cheese)
Revenn : Vigilante, comes up as serial killer to investigators (fuckin' demons, man)
Narax : Vanilla (just to make us wonder if and when he dies)
Mallyn : Private communication with Satalia (link paper!)
Satalia : Private communication with Mallyn (link paper!)
Finnah : Private communication with Korulen (roommates!)
Korulen : Private communication with Finnah (roommates!)
Ehail : Vanilla
Ilen : Vanilla
Apran : Vanilla
Rithka : Vanilla

This list scheme sounds like that crypto shit we were doing last time, which didn't help at all. Also, it is effort.
Furthermore, it also tells scum useful things, which I'm generally against.

I agree with kappa’s plan. Here is my list. Due to the rules and justifications for them that kappa laid out, which I agree with, it is different from my earlier list.
I confirm that I am a townie, and that my role, and power if I have one, is included in this ilst.
Ahin – Has a range of single‐use powers, he may use one of them per night.
Ehail – Dragon, vanilla
Eret – Dragon, vanilla
Finnah – Dragon, vanilla
Gyre – Vanilla
Ilen – Dragon, vanilla
Kanaat – Has access to a private communication channel with Keo.
Kaylo – Dragon, can determine the powers of one player per night.
Keo – Dragon, private communication channel with Kanaat. Immunity to recruitment of any kind. Can determine the affiliation of one player per night.
Korulen – Vanilla
Leekath – Can determine what a chosen player did during the night (her power comes last in the order of night actions). Private communication channel with Talyn.
Mallyn – Private communication channel with Rithka.
Narax – Dragon, double voter
Rhysel – Vanilla
Rithka – Dragon, private communication channel with Mallyn.
Saasnil – Vanilla
Sashpark – Dragon, vanilla
Talyn – Private communication channel with Leekath.
Theedy – Dragon, vanilla
All dragons can survive the first attempt to kill them.

In response to Alphabeta:
I don't think the list scheme is very much like crypto. They both involve effort, I'll give you that. And optionally spoiler boxes. But they also both involve posting to this thread and I don't see you trying to forbid that, come on, dude.
Also I think the list scheme is pretty well optimized for doing town more good than it does scum. What good are scum going to get out of knowing dead people's powers? Whereas town gets to know that Soandso was an investigative role and scrutinize their past posts for intel.
For that matter, given that town's only communication channels are public, being against telling scum useful things seems like it cashes out to being against any useful information ever being disseminated, which... uh... you're entitled to your opinion, I guess.

Wait, I am confused about how it would tell scum useful things. I thought the point would be to inform the town of what roles they had lost after people die so they wouldn't e.g. go through everything AndaisQ said after they died hoping for cop informant but could go through everything eg Aestrix said looking for Libby clues.

It also gives the scum a lot of random noise when looking for power roles. That's why you include minor characters and characters that aren't you.
It's only after death that we find out which one of their speculations was their actual power, and what can the mafia do about it then? Kill them even more?
