It's not too late to copy all the comments after that and then delete them and edit it? There are only 3 right now.

That would be tasteless. One does not take jokes from the fans.

Ari, however, is an exceptionally good finder.
So this means Ari is going to be sorted into Hufflepuff, right?
(Posting this before reading any further in the thread. Now to keep reading...)

Ari is going to be one, because of Sally. Andaisq said that in his tumblr, I am assuming it is what going to happen in the sandbox

I can find no other evidence of the term “widershins” being used in any way as slang for homosexuality. I’m not surprised about it being such slang, but I’d expect to find that definition listed somewhere else on the Internet.
In any case, I caught that comment before reading everything above it, and assumed they were talking about Muggles disliking left-handed people. We really do have a lot of assholes, don’t we?
(Does Wizarding Britain not have the same transphobia problems as the Alta California Academy of the Arts Magical, or do the characters just not know about that issue?)

We made it up as wix slang. I think it makes sense, so I'm a little surprised it hasn't been used before, but if it's brand new, hey, go us.
The characters do not know that Leo is trans at this time and it hasn't come up yet, except I guess he'd be in a worse mood if the Hufflepuff dorms conspired to put him in the wrong one.

The dorms would likely be cooperative; the results of that one Point Me spell in Effulgence canon seem to indicate that magic is pretty good about gender recognition. And I think the administration has bigger problems at the moment than small queer children, such as everything.

In Effulgence the magic was inconsistent about it. The Point Me was good, but the school still had Sherlock down incorrectly.

We know that the Gryffindorms forbid boys in the girls' dorm but not vice-versa, so if Hufflepuff is equally or more permissive it wouldn't pose a problem for Leo anyway.

So I have been (very slowly) working my way through a certain (unfinished, abandoned, but very sweet and highly recommended)
Harry Potter fanfic...and I just got to a part (Chapter 1 of Year Two) where one of the characters is describing a
traumatic personal experience involving Grindylows. Synchronicity!
