No one else wants to turn out to be a Balrog.

I'll banish evil; I'll banish malice; and, most importantly, I'll banish economic inefficiency!

She continues not to know who the inventors are but she could talk about the uses all day! Signs and books and leaving notes when you're not where someone expected you to be and carriage schedules and complicated math you can't do in your head and charts and diagrams and outlines and calligraphy and did she mention books and magic scrolls and written music and signed artwork and labels on plants in botanical gardens and monuments and room numbers and writing is so great you guys

I’m not sure I agree with the room numbers; buildings always seem to have a way to make the numbering not work well. All the other uses are yes writing is great you should get on that right now.

Most buildings I've met that were built in the past, oh, hundred years seem to manage to respect the convention of "thousands and hundreds for floor number, tens and ones for room within floor". Which is so much more convenient than not knowing which floor, even if it's precious little guidance beyond that.
One building instead used the hundreds for designating the closest entrance, from one end of the building to the other. That kinda threw me.
