Okay, I have the same question Blair and Yvette did, but you are more likely to answer than the Shadows are.

What the heck is up with the mystery box?!‽!!?!??!‽

Apparently “more likely to” does not mean “probably will”.

I wonder how differently things would go if they used a more accurate definition of stalling. One where “What are all of the details about all of the customization options for every card but the Hanged Man and Empress cards?” counts as stalling if you do not plan on taking any cards other than those, but asking the same question more than once because you forgot, or taking a minute to honestly consider something does not.

I am a cruel goddess!

(Kappa has also been ???)

(If it looks like it might take a while to get to the Box, I might post a thing <3)

It looked to me like it might take a while, because Yvette still seems to have a lot of things to consider. You’re likely a better judge of the time it will take than I am though.

Yvette's going to get her thinking done in one large block that shouldn't take super long for me to write, I think we're good.

You can apparently control the age you appear at to some extent; Blair asked to appear at age 19, for example.

Could you appear as a baby? I imagine that would solve many of the family issues (no memory modification, you know your history, etc.) at the expense of being a baby again (and later going through puberty again).

I definitely felt like I recognized the Fool from a specific *spoiler*. I actually tried to slot the other ones into what I remembered of that instance specifically, but it obviously didn't fit.

There are lower age limits as well. (Age 6 is the minimum on any card, IIRC.)

Age six gets passed a lot of the disadvantages of starting as a baby (but not all of them). What would such a small starting age affect? Would it affect you mentally, or just physically?

If I understand it correctly, the Fool makes you be in a body which is a different physical sex from the one you currently occupy. Does it change your gender identity? Could this be considered a benefit in some cases? What about people who generally don’t occupy a single sex (which I doubt would, by itself, be enough to prevent the Shadows from appearing, especially if it was because they were physically intersex instead of because they had a shapeshifting power)?
proceed to new world wrote:"New experiences can be added while the old stay intact. So I would have a new life I don't remember anything about except for this conversation? --I will remember this conversation, right?"

"Yes, and yes, you will remember this conversation. How many times do I have to say that your mind will remain intact?"

[…]

"--What do you -- have you -- meant when you said that my mind would remain intact?"
"You will be materially the same person, with no significant negative change in your cognitive abilities or alteration to your personal identity. Obviously I cannot say 'no change', since having had this rather interesting conversation will no doubt change who you are, somewhat."
How does not being able to remember 4⁄5 of the subject of a conversation constitute being able to remember the conversation? If I were to have a long conversation about the properties of the elements torz, sweela, elay, coru, and hunti, and at the end the only element I could remember at all was sweela, I don’t think that would qualify as remembering the conversation.

Will the memories of the rest of the conversation come back when she later hears about Majokko and the others? Will she be able to remember that her brother chose that one?
