Anyway, it is just me or Cam is being kinda of a prick? I understand that earlier interactions set him in a bad mood, but he is lacking more tact that usual IMHO

Demon Cams are prone to snark and messing with people. Scared Demon Cams have a harder time keeping that light and friendly.

And Ari and Sally are not helping particularly, though they'd have a hard time actually coming up with something in character that would help.

When the friendliest magic that exists is probably Soulgazes, Bells are pretty much just going to automatically have a bad time.

(Especially since just about everything except wizardry that gives you power warps your priorities just by coming close to it.)

Honestly, I feel like a Bell could do pretty well with some of the priority-warping junk. Like, hyperluminosity versus Denarian is not a foregone conclusion.

Aris can often favorably impress Bells (Promise, Flicker). This one really, really didn't, even though I did make this'un bi just in case. Cam went with the "type" excuse rather than enumerating the reasons why his reaction was "fuck no". The state is not irrecoverable but it would take a lot of recovering, and require order-of-operations I don't think Aris are easily lent to.

A Denarian is a thing that gives you power and wants you to be evil. They accomplish this by inserting thoughts in your head and messing with your priorities. I feel like a Bell might be able to remain a Bell with one of them in their head, though I highly doubt they'd want one.

Huh, I understand that was deleted, but it sounds extremely unreasonable to expect the average stranger react to "I might steal years of your life" with anything besides negative reaction. Sigh.

What order of operations? I dont want you to break for it, but I am curious.

Would knowing/meeting the other Bell pairs improve chances of happening?
