Emmas greatly enjoy Mileses as people, and in the one case as a sibling, but they're not interested in actually dating one; too much constant chaos/danger xD

Heh.
Leaf thinks Equalest is short-sightedly overattached to his principles at the cost of actual human welfare. :P He can expand on this if anyone is actually interested in hearing it.
The Miles template would like to propose that before Jinx gets mad at them for ruining her fun she should try meeting one and see how that works out. Preferably a young one. Like, say, seventeen.

So like...
In principle from an external perspective, he agrees that "the people this one guy happens to trust" is not anything like a fair and equitable distribution of power.
However.
The stakes are too high for him to give this anything less than his absolute best effort. Worlds could end if he distributes the wrong power or information to the wrong person. He does not have the ability to formulate a fair and impartial rule for distributing power that will be more effective in practice than rampant nepotism and personal intuition, because a Miles's personal intuition for how trustworthy people are is demonstrably very good, and he has no such faith in his or anyone else's abstract reasoning about who should, perhaps in a perfect world, get this stuff.

Oh, I have no doubt that Mileseses are good at generating excitement, but Jinx is a little too...
indiscriminate in her sources of excitement for me to feel that it would work out long-term.

You needed to talk with Aestrix?
I could have told you that.

It was more like 'Aestrix was describing aspects of Revan at Pedro' than anything else. I wafted a delicious crush target in front of Sadde's proverbial nose by accident. It's all my fault.
(I regret nothing.)

It was unfortunately very, very spoiler heavy for Bunny Slippers! So, yes, I will, but not this thread, sorry. It will have to wait and show up in Bunny Slippers proper. <3
