It's like a collection of organized chatrooms that are private to group members and keep history indefinitely like a forum, plus some file sharing capability. It's meant for small companies, but I use it to talk about/preview my solo writing, except that I'm too shy to ask people to come hang out in Slack and talk about my writing with me so it's been gathering dust lately.
