BSS--oops, I made a typo. I should have said wolf was confirmed town (with Mallyn as her true name.) Alicorn asked us not to edit after other people posted, but I meant to say town.

@modrony: thanks.
@pistachi0n: I assumed that was what you meant!
I it's pretty reasonable to try to kill futurevision, since I think by most lists, they're the most suspicious one. If they have something really great and believable to say in their defense, I might change my vote, but otherwise I think they're our best bet so far.

The reason I'm not voting futurevision, despite that it bothers me that she hasn't voted at all, is as follows:
If she's scum, and she has some sort of stipulation that prevents her vote from counting--great!
If she's town, and she has some sort of stipulation that prevents her vote from counting--that's bad for town, but not bad enough to lynch her, and she can still give us ideas. I wish she would.
People have made it clear enough that not voting is scummy that I don't think anyone in the mafia or any other anti-town factions would go three times without voting. They're trying to blend in, remember. I'm pretty sure that if FV were scum, she would have at least tried to vote on day 3 when it was obvious most of town was suspicious of her.
To be clear, I still want her to vote and I'm annoyed that she hasn't.
Edit: This post could be called "lessons I learned from wanting to lynch michaelblume."

There now seems to be a sizable bandwagon against futurevision. People have been using the term "cached suspicions" a lot, and I like it. To try to avoid just that, I am going to go back through the thread and review the evidence against futurevision; I'm also going to give them a chance to respond. If they still seem guilty to me, and if they have not responded or I don't find their response convincing, I plan to vote for them tonight before I go to sleep.
@pistachi0n, modrony: I am not sure which of you I agree with in general, but I think modrony is right about voting for someone you think will "win" the vote. Especially in that situation, where it is obvious one of two people will "win", it makes no sense to vote for anyone else; that's just wasting your vote. Or, put it another way: Mafia is inherently first past the post, not PR. Voting for third parties will almost always be ineffective. [/nerdy political science reference]

if people voted earlier in the day, there would be more point for voting for 3rd parties -- they'd have a better chance of taking off.

I really want to see mafia games with alternative voting systems now.

ooh yeah. what if everyone had 3 votes (i think more would be annoying), one worth 3 points, one 2, the other worth 1. And they casted 3 votes a day for their top 3 scumreads and whoever had the most points got lynched.

Attractive prospect. Might put a burden on the mods though.

Since I have to prove that I have a working vote and modrony has said they don't mind if people vote for them: vote modrony.
If michaelblume dies, I have to do something which would not be beneficial to town. Although I'm not sure if it would be less beneficial than what I've been doing lately by not voting. Please don't kill michaelblume. Their role is rather important to mine. If you would like to kill a townsperson anyways, I invite you to continue keeping your votes on me. I'm not entirely sure if my death would cause michaelblume to take a similar action to me, but I would hope that you trust him more than me, since he's been proven to be town.

michaelblume hasn't been proven to be town, though, has he? he's just been proven to have survived one attempted groupkill. that could have happened for any number of reasons.
