I am intrigued by these notions.

I mean, there's nothing to say that a joker couldn't burn down some buildings and then stop. Jokers are known for their tendency to stop burning down buildings!

I have not seen farscape but I saw this gifset and it made me think Joker. And then I looked up the character and was not dissuaded on cursory initial scanning. I am curious of what others think!

Five minutes ago I had barely heard of Farscape. Now tht entire post applies to me.

Farscape is fun but I'm not sure it's particularly Effulgable and I don't believe kappa's seen it.

I concur that the book was written by time-traveling-thirteen-year-old-kappa-possessed-Anne-Bishop. That sounds exactly correct. And yes, the book is really bad, but somehow I love the characters and the setting anyway, and I would be super excited if you guys ever ended up effulging it (especially because you guys might FIX THE BAD PARTS). Bell Jaenelle and Joker Daemon is what I would have suggested; they each would do wonderfully in those roles. I am very very curious about what Saetan is! If you decide it's not worth splitting limited effulgent attention (which you seem to have, considering you posted this aages ago) then I want to know the spoiler. But I am posting this in case it helps tip over any mental scales into "yeah let's effulge this" territory because I want to see that so hard.

(So I'm reading through this thread from the beginning so I can second anything I see that I love and react to stuff and not suggest something that Alicorn or Kappa has NOPE'd. I apologize if I miss any NOPEing.)

Seconding Good Omens SO HARD although I'm not sure I agree with the original suggestor about Giles and Rayne being Aziraphale and Crowley respectively. Rayne's primary distinguishing characteristic is not giving a fuck about anyone other than Giles. This is not really all that compliant with Crowley, who loves his Bentley and sleep and all kinds of other wonderfully human things and rezzied that dove Aziraphale accidentally killed. I would actually prefer a Bell!Aziraphale or Crowley with the other role being filled by someone else.
...Actually given that binary Bell would probably be Crowley. I could be wrong tho.
And ABSOLUTELY YES the Adam should be Joker. Although...does his adoptive dad have to be terrible or does the fact that his "real" dad is literally Satan fulfill the template attractor?
Personally I like the Foglio drawing style but I can see why someone else wouldn't. If that's the only reason you're not getting into it there are novelizations available.
Abhorsen sounds like a great idea--I would love to see Cricket!Mogget. Mogget is awesome.
Whatever numberth ing Narbonic/Skin Horse ALSO so hard. (The "Dr. Lee is not a mad scientist" thing does not mean Dr. Lee is sane. It means she does not have the specific psychological condition known as mad science. She is mad and she is sciency, but she is not actually a mad scientist.) I could easily see Bell as Dr. Lee, or possibly Tip although I'm a bit iffier on that one. Also, the local Joker is Unity. Actually, this is my headcanon now, Unity is a Joker.
Mercy Thompson I would recommend based on "I enjoyed it." I honestly have no idea how you would feel about it.
I'd kinda like to see Supernatural added just because It Needs Belling but honestly it doesn't seem like the kind of thing you'd enjoy.
Also it might be interesting to see XMFC. I've seen a couple of sandboxes where Charles Xavier met Effulgence chars and loved both. And yes, Bell thwapping Charles and a Joker helping sane Erik seem like awesome ideas.
I know you're already doing Circle of Magic-Tamora Pierce is awesome and I would love to see some Tortall. Not really sure how the characters would fit in tho'...

Good Omens is mostly failing to come together even to the Vague Notion level.

I am potentially intrigued by Girl Genius novelization if they're well done, but it seems like the kind of thing that might, instead, be badly done.

I've seen 2 episodes of Supernatural (Fan Fiction and French Mistake) at the behest of my brothers-in-law. It was okay. I'm having a really hard time lately watching even television that I know I like and once had some momentum on (I'm a season behind Game of Thrones, have not been keeping up with ponies, way behind on Sleepy Hollow, dropped Agents of SHIELD, can't even think about picking up anything new, looking less and less likely to go back and finish Stargate SG1 and Angel, etc.). Television is not my medium and I need to conserve my watching-capacity. My absorption of SPN from Tumblr suggests that it does need Belling but only in the way that all things need Belling; it doesn't seem to be screaming for it in either an attractors or a Glaring Obvious Thing Labeled "Solution" Lying Around In Plain Sight reason.

Charles in the sandbox with Aegis was played by a friend of kappa's who isn't interested in doing more glowfic, so one of us would have to take canon X-men characters, and Peace is already X-men-y.

I'm not a huge Tortall fan. I read them a while ago and they were just okay, and I don't have the first idea where a Bell would go.
