Oh, and the Chelsea'd can't vote for the person who Chelsea's them, nor kill them. That's why I had to either do it now, not at all, or hope to find a Bell and wreck my action economy defending whenever he got it into his head to bring me in.

Huh, somehow it's really not hard for me to play under that rule. Also thinking about it, if we didn't, it would kind of make the whole game pointless - so long as we knew a Chelsea-lite was in a game we could just sit around doing nothing and that's no way to play a game.

And yeah, I believe Alphabeta about DanielH. For awhile now I've vaguely liked him for no clear reason IT FITS! :P

Alphabeta, in more detail, if DanielH is really Chelsea, why didn't you tell us earlier? I acknowledge I mis-attributed your "probably innocent" when looking back you said that about michaelblume. Why did you think you could use the Chelsea power to coordinate actions? I'm still suspicious you have other intentions.

I thought I could use the Chelsea power to coordinate actions because I could have. It does allow coordination of actions within the cult/friend circle. The cost of doing that is just unacceptable to my current goal.

And is your goal town-oriented? What makes you better than a Chelsea, if you're even telling the truth?

Oh, here's another thing I just thought of.

It makes sense for whoever Chelsea is to convert people who express the most suspicion of them. Alphabeta was the first to express suspicion of DanielH. If he were Chelsea, why would he convert Shoal of all people and not Alphabeta? Seeing as Alphabeta just started a bandwagon to kill DanielH, he obviously wasn't Chelsea'd.

I do not believe DanielH is in the Chelsea faction. I think Alphabeta has some other agenda to get rid of him.

I need to get my thoughts straight.

Fact 1: Sherlock just died.
Fact 2: DanielH didn't aknowledge Alphabeta's suspicion on him on the following morning, I had to ask about it.
Fact 3: Alphabeta didn't want to kill DanielH the previous day.
Fact 4: Alphabeta claimed that there are people who can't vote DanielH because he is Chelsea.
Fact 5: Alphabeta claimed Shoal is one of these people.

Fact 1 happening at the same time as this switch could be a coincidence, but the whole thing feels a little iffy. On the other hand if Alphabeta was a mafia that tried to get just anyone else out, why DanielH, Fact 3 doesn't fit? If Alphabeta is mafia, he could have just night killed DanielH last/next night. If DanielH was a protective role who couldn't be killed, why woudln't he claim that?

Facts 2 and 3 made me assume yesterday that Alphabeta and DanielH had some kind of contact during the night, because they would have coordinated a staged intra-mafia spat better instead of just dropping it immediately. I didn't think of a cult, although I should have, in hindsight.

Fact 4 is easy to test. Vote: DanielH. Due to fact 5 Shoal can wreck this whole theory, the only thing they need to do is to vote DanielH. Until that I'm going to assume Alphabeta won't lie about something that is so easily proven false.

There is nothing preventing me from typing Vote: DanielH. I don't really wish to vote at to this time, because a lot happened last night while I was asleep and I'm not sure what to make of it all yet. I'm more suspicious of Alpha right now. I'm only voting to show that I am capable of doing so.

I think if there is a Chelsea then there's nothing wrong with the Chelsea group not voting to kill their own members during the daytime when they're sure that those members are not mafia. If they don't know who the mafia are any better than the rest of us, then they have a better chance of accidentally targetting the mafia during the daytime than people outside of the Chelsea group. Also, we don't know exactly what rules we're playing under, but according to the wiki, http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Cult, sometimes when cult leaders accidentally try to recruit a mafia member during the night, the mafia member can shoot them automatically -- I'm not sure if that fits the flavour of Chelsea or not, though. But if we are playing under those rules, then we wouldn't need to worry about the Chelsea group acquiring a Chelsea-aligned mafia member.

I might have more thoughts later.
