Bar said that the person there who looked like a Bell and made the “I Ambela” pun was a Bell. It seems based on context that this is probably the human (who later turned owl, so the form she arrived in is natural). Do you mean it would be interesting if Bar were referring to the Yeerk?

Relatedly, could Bar identify Solvei as a Miles, or just as a Mark?

I'm not sure how Bar counts these things, but as far as Mileses and Marks are concerned, not-Solvei situations (e.g. Solvei, Ruava) are valid Miles instances sharing hardware with their Marks.

Also, what Bar said iirc was "Bella is a Bell", which is, well, true. Just not exactly what they were asking.
