In the spirit of unread page appreciation, I pushed something that shoooould fix the Unread page not displaying the right post count / number of pages. Let me know if the behavior continues? (Also fixed a thing where it sometimes created a duplicate tag/setting/content warning instead of using the existing one, that should in theory also go away now.)

Considering adding a Followed option as the counterpart to the Hide option for continuities/posts (maybe for authors too, it's vaguely tempting to make everyone auto-follow Alicorn :P) and then hopefully I can condense these under Recently Updated to "All | Unread | Followed" or something. Start cutting down on my INFINITE MENU. Thoughts?

PSA: I am using the Javascript method startsWith() in a few places. This is not supported by Safari versions below 9. lintamande is wonderful and helped me track it down; she was nice enough to upgrade Safari but if anyone else is on an old version, heads up that some things might not work, most noticeably the ability to change characters and icons when posting. Meanwhile, "come up with comprehensive list of browsers and versions supported" should probably go on my to do list somewhere xD

Not sure I understand what the distinction would be wrt Followed. Like, just a subset of Recently Updated Threads that you particularly want to look at, or...?

It would presumably, once I paid for a worker dyno, include things like daily emails about your followed threads. Not much otherwise :)

Feature request, hopefully this is minor: A 'time last loaded' thing in the header of, if easiest, all pages, but otherwise Unread, user pages (with the lists of threads), Tags Owed page - I'd like to be able to see how long it's been since I reloaded those to cut down on 'wait, did that click not take?' reloads when there aren't updates.

Okay, a feature I have been vaguely wishing for but can't think of an obviously elegant way to implement, in case it turns out to be easy when you actually know what's going on behind the scenes:

Could we have an "instance-splitting" feature, which lets us say "see this character instance? I want to fork a new instance off of it, with the same iconset, and make all posts by that character in [these selected threads] be by the new character instead, keeping their old icons; put the new character as a new instance of the same template."

The usecase I'm thinking of (maybe this will help if the description is unclear) is when you've been using the same character account in multiple threads and then realize that they have diverged enough that you should really have different instances for them. Especially useful if you then later want the instances to meet. For instance, if Alicorn did another Cam-with-Elves thread, and then went "oh, hey, I should really have those two Cams be separate characters before they meet," she could select that thread and split off a new Bell-instance such that all Cam-posts in that thread changed to be attributed to that new instance, without her having to go through each one individually.

This seems like it's almost certainly not something that's needed often enough to be worth implementing, unless it's super easy to put in, in which case it could be really handy. So just throwing it out there.

That sounds like it could also be useful ifa generic account was used for a character and then a full account was created. For example, Micaiah is Pythbox in earlier threads.

Pushed a thing so any page with a list of threads will have a tiny timestamp in the top right, let me know if it needs tweaking.

I already have "replace all instances of character X in thread Y with character Z" on my to do list, but I will put character forking on the list as well! And then once forked you can use the replacement feature as desired.
