I thought that at first, but it's in the entry itself, a reply, another reply by the author, and then another reply by the author, as well as here, here, and so on, so I think maybe it's just a variation for that thread? Perhaps PDV thought "Theod" would fit better?
I mean, unless it was a typo, then it was in a reply, and then it was just "let's go with the flow", which is possible... :\

Oh well. Crimson is this, scarlet is this, and "fire brick" is this, according to the applicable Wikipedia pages. Apparently there's also "Carmine" (this), which seems closer to what I originally picked, so if people are okay with that I think I pick "carmine".

I'm pretty sure we were just disagreeing about the word, not the color. Carmine's fine, anyway; do you care whether it's #990000 or #960018? Former's easier to remember but I usually just copypaste regardless.

Yeah, Theo felt inapproriate for the setting he was in. But I am basically inactive as a glowficcer, so there's no big deal.
