Re: Treasury Worldbuilding Info
Lambda is correct. There could be very large magical artifacts, but not buildings. Religious objects could be artifacts, I just didn't happen to list any.

Wait... wheelchairs? Is that a extreme solution to the clumsiness or they have some disability?Alicorn wrote:The tricycle isn't particularly attached to anything about the world, but Bells in northerly climes have more problems with the clumsiness (Canadian Bells use wheelchairs), so in Vague Norway I gave her a trike. Adult trikes exist in reality and some of them are pretty snazzy.
The Harp possible backstory: Originally the harp was owbed by a rich woman, said woman was something of a magic geek, she owned a couple of artifacts and even touched a couple more, one such artifact gave the man sleeping problems that could be cured only with music. As she grew old, the woman stopped playing the harp but hired a servant just for that purpose. One night the woman passed away in her sleep while the harp was being played, the musician is instantly affected.

It's for the clumsiness. Canadian Bells have to try to get around on ice. They don't use their chairs constantly, but they do break them out in the winter and if they need to get somewhere relatively accessible particularly quick.

Okay. I suppose they eventually move if anti-clumsiness solution doesnt present itself?Alicorn wrote:It's for the clumsiness. Canadian Bells have to try to get around on ice. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. Using a wheelchair is really not the end of the world, it's just a vehicle, same as a trike or a hoverbike or a broom. Sure, there's the social stigma angle, but since when do Bells care about that?Bluelantern wrote:Okay. Even Bells are not clumsy enough to fall over while in wheelchairs, as long as they aren't trying to do fancy stunts.

How exactly directly oposing side effects and main effects interact... say you have an artifact that gives you full regeneration, and you touch the bike, would you lose the feet-bones completely or you only lose once and they grow back?

I'd be inclined to say that the dissolution of the feetbones doesn't count as something that the regenerative artifact handles. (But amputating your boneless feet might be, and I might allow them to grow back with bones in.)
