So after you imported Silmaril, I went into the automatically-created galleries for Sigyn and Thor and I filled them out and replaced the imported icons with imgur-hosted versions instead of dreamwidth-hosted ones. It was really easy! It's great!
Is there any sane and sensible way to make it that easy to replace the images of icons uploaded to the site? I know I've brought this up before and I think we talked about ways to fiddle around replacing icons with other icons, but the URL-swapping thing is just so temptingly simple.

(Probably they do not! Alicorn or lintamande can delete them, or I can do it, or we can ignore them for now xD)
@Pedro: I'm curious what context you're jumping around in. There's beginning, end, and next buttons, and Unread; how often are you going to a page that isn't those? I will design for your use case!
Posts with no replies did not take well to my ordering changes. Should be fixed now.
URL swapping is now on the list, I just want to make sure that it deletes the uploaded icon when you change it out for something else. If it's just uploaded-to-non-uploaded URL swapping that is easier; adding an actual upload button to that edit page is more work.

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Well this specific time was because I was in a certain page of halls of stone on dw and wanted to go to it on the constellation to resume reading but I could only do it by editing the URL. I don't expect it to come up a lot so if it's boring/hard work/ugly/whatever don't worry about it.Marri wrote:@Pedro: I'm curious what context you're jumping around in. Also https://vast-journey-9935.herokuapp.com/boards/7 are board descriptions not HTML friendly or?
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Gotcha! I can see about adding a jump to dropdown or something.
They will be, I forgot xD

Feature request:
In addition to whole-thread content warnings, some authors put content warnings on specific parts of their threads - as of right now that's just done with a note in a post at the beginning of the warned-about section that eventually links to a post at the end. This has the obvious downside that there's no good way of actually skipping that content while it's happening, since there's no way to know when it's ended without checking in. I'd like to see this formalized to solve this problem - have an actual feature to mark a thread has having CW content being written, change the CW icon on such threads to indicate that that's happening without having to actually click on them, and automate the skip-over link part. (Also mark where the CW content ends, I've had trouble with that sometimes.)

I have To Do listed this feature!
Also descriptions are html safe now. Same rules as post content.

We're trying a thing. I am SO VERY not an expert on Amazon S3 / image uploads / JQuery / Javascript / kind of literally anything, so if you see anything wrong please let me know immediately buuuuut I think you can upload multiple icons at once now.

Feature request: "Sandboxes & Oneshots" should not have "Previous Post" and "Next Post" links, because they're always not related and often "you do not have permission".
