About me trusting pistachi0n: whether or not the mafia are likely to vote in blocs, I very much agree that they have less influence if more people vote. Cause we can only guess about who the mafia are and the mafia most likely know, so 2 mafia can try to get us to vote on 2 people who are town or just support voting for townspeople or stuff (I'm tired what do you want, eloquence or something?)I think that if I were mafia, I would have noticed that right away and then not told anyone about it (although maybe... I did... mwaHahAHAHA!!!11!.. *ahem*), so I guess I'm mostly projecting my one motivations/modes of behaviour on him.
Maybe I put too much trust for just one little thing, but it's late, I have work in the morning, I'm tired and a little cranky and really not in the mood for twisty thinking, so I won't be reassessing that opinion...

And now I have to vote, because *convincing arguments* and I won't be awake for much longer and certainly won't get up before the 'day' ends. Ugh.

And I really don't want to just jump on to whoever most seem inclined to vote for. I guess if 1) I'm still awake by the time the random page does random stuff 2) the random person is one of the 7 people I'm somewhat more willing to vote against I'll go with that, otherwise, sorry futurevision. I wanted to think up a third position for if I don't stay up for random number, but bleargh, thinking...

Sooo... I'll do exactly what I don't want and jump on the bandwagon. Let's kill futurevision. Because I can't think of a way to use my vote in an even slightųly productive way and I don't want to not vote again, even though I don't think just voting with the majotity of people is much more useful than not voting, if it's more useful at all, and aren't these fun circles to go rouns? Yay.
I seem to be so annoyed by my lack of opinion that my inner grammar Nazi/pedant has gone on vacation and I just can't be bothered any more...

@no.head.chicken Yeah I'm in a similar boat - I don't expect to be around for the day end and I'd prefer to vote for someone for a reason other than just bandwagoning, but apparently no-voting is antitown, so I guess I'll bandwagon for now and hope that I can be on mobile at day end just in case. At least futurevision is one of the people on the higher end of my suspicion list, and as Shoal pointed out, we have pretty good odds at this point.

I disagree. There's more noise the more people vote, and the more people vote the more wagons there are, so it's easier to throw themselves on a wagon that isn't their mafia friends. On top of that mafia can also give good advice to town. Hell, it's an easy way to seem useful while not actually giving their opinions on other players.

That said I'm going to vote pistachi0n based on a gut feeling because I have no better ideas. Nobody's here saving futurevision, so that makes it more likely that they have no mafia friends who would save them.

I'm still online for like twenty minutes and then I'm off to bed. The end of the day is like six AM for me, so once I'm out for the night you won't see me until in-game tomorrow.

BlueSkySprite's RNG has returned 9, which according to her post corresponds to Shoal. I will therefore vote for Shoal, even though I expect futurevision to be killed, to register my generalized unease with bandwagons.

Yeah, let's kill Shoal. Something about them makes me suspicious.

Right, well I won't vote for myself, then, so I'll vote for futurevision. I also only barely managed to stay up late enough to see who the random number generator would pick, so I'm not going to be awake to see if I'll be in danger of being lynched so I'm going to pre-emptively roleclaim, even though I think that role-claiming in general just makes it easier for the mafia to know which targets are juicier.

As in the Bell twin? I think the Bell would know if you were. Although how ey would say that without revealing eirself publicly is a difficult problem.
