You mean using portals to travel to different worlds? ...isn't that regular Incandescence? :D

I’m surprised you can’t tell people apart in the recent updates. The few characters we’ve seen in this over-long arc are fairly distinctive even in the modern black-and-white formst.

Anyway, I suppose the “no time travel” plus “biological immortality” means a “no way” on Goldmage? Any chance Elcenia could make it into a main work instead of just sandboxes?

Would you consider Warehouse 13 (which looks like it inspired Treasury, but you haven’t actually done in either continuity)?

I can barely recognise myself in a mirror; I look different to myself each time I look. But: a lot of the characters have brown hair. Those characters all look the same. Tedd has pink-and-sometimes purple hair so he sticks out. There's that one girl with the yellow hair that I notice sometimes. In black and white, they're all people with grey hair. Plus, they have shapeshifting magic so half the time they're shorter or taller than usual, which makes height particularly unreliable (but he likes to play with perspective anyway, and the change of camera angle is enough to make everybody look like a new person i've never met before) or are suddenly a cat or squirrel or something -- which would be reliable except when they loan each other the means to do that.

It's a problem I have with most media, but some comics have more distinctive characters than others.

I have read the first 252 comics, and the last ... *checks rss reader* everything from june 16 until today comics.

I also have trouble with faces IRL and to a lesser extent in comics; I couldn’t draw any of the EGS characters, myself, or my mother even if I had artistic ability. I was just somewhat surprised you couldn’t recognize people by other traits, like Grace’s “dark-skinned green-themed girl”. I guess it would take a while to learn all those, though.

On a slightly related topic, I wish this forum had a way to mark a thread as read. I doubt I’ll get much out of the facecasting thread, but once I’ve read the rest of Storytime I’ll need to page through that thread if I want Storytime to turn read only with new content.

Almost certainly no Effulging or Incandescing of Goldmage or Elcenia (but I am still open to sandboxes, and me and kappa might eventually do a reasonably longish Tony-and-a-Sherlock-have-adventures-in-Elcenia thing). Barashi alone could make it to Effulgence one day. I watched a few episodes of Warehouse 13 but didn't like it.

Have you mentioned before why Elcenia won't be included in Effulgence? What was the reason?

The combination of Bells plus Elcenia retreads conceptual ground in a way that doesn't interest me. (There's "everybody who visits Elcenia decides to cure shrens", and then there's "Bells in Elcenia".)

What if the shrens were somehow already cured offscreen before the Bell happens?

Meh. Heads off only the most obvious symptom.

What happens if you click directly to the last page of the thread? I wouldn't swear to it, but I suspect that does what you want.
