Okay! Suspicions list time. Still can't get spoiler-boxing to work for me, even though it is very aesthetically pleasing and I wish I could:
my suspicions
I am mildly suspicious of modrony, Kappa, michaelblume, futurevision, and Paradox.
I'm suspicious of modrony for Intuitive Feelings reasons and also because they have a lot of social power and are in a position to steer the game easily, but that in and of itself is not a reason to kill someone, and "kill all the smart people" is a really bad strategy anyway.
I'm a little suspicious of Kappa because he was active towards the beginning and then stopped participating as much, but I recognize that this is a bad reason to be suspicious of someone, especially since I am also suffering from brain burnout with this game too. So, probably not voting for Kappa, but I wanted to put my suspicions out there.
I'm suspicious of futurevision and michaelblume because they haven't been active, but futurevision seems to have a good excuse and after reading Kappa's suspicions I think michaelblume does too.
That leaves Paradox, who isn't participating much and is acting similarly to the way they acted during the last game, where they were a killer. This, again, is not a good reason to vote for someone by itself. I also am having vague recollections of them making an argument that seemed kind of far-fetched to me (in this game, not the last one). I model Paradox as a very rational person so it makes me suspicious when they make arguments I consider far-fetched. It's not very legit to accuse them of Mafiahood on that basis, especially since I don't remember what the argument was so there's no way for them to defend themselves, and for all I know it was a perfectly reasonable argument and I'm misremembering. So, all in all, I have no idea who to vote for.
I am planning on making a list post soon, but it will not be tonight because I have two papers due tomorrow, I am sick and tired, and whenever I sit down and try to do it my brain goes "ugh" and tries to escape. I absolutely do not blame you if you are suspicious of me for that reason. It's a suspicious thing to do!
Also, response to some spoilered stuff:
responses
The reason I kept voting for michaelblume is that I wasn't convinced by any of the arguments for killing tau or PDV, and I didn't want to kill an innocent person. People seemed to think abstention was suspicious, so I decided to keep my vote on michaelblume because no one else was voting for him so I wasn't at risk of doing something really bad by mistake.

In case this is anybody's problem with spoiler-boxing: [spoiler-box="text"] does not work. [spoiler-box=text] works.

Also, sometimes punctuation marks make spoiler boxes stop working.

yay! and it's okay if it takes a few edits to get a spoiler-box to work, often takes me a couple tries too.

Good to know I'm not the only one!
Is editing a post after it has been responded to so that it is spoiler-boxed instead of mouseover-spoilered acceptable?

Yeah, sorry about the spoiler-box thing, they are hand-implemented and I just hunted down some code that would work and handed it to Alicorn with instructions for where on the website it needed to go to make things happen. They could probably be tweaked to require question marks if that would be less confusing for people and also might fix the problem of having punctuation in the title text?

Listpost time, I guess? I feel like the more I try to do what everyone is asking, the more suspicious I'll seem, but that's not really for me to say.
IF I AM TOWN-AFFILIATED, I WILL DESCRIBE MY OWN REAL POWER ATTACHED TO MY OWN REAL CHARACTER IN THIS LIST.
Annei - vanilla townie, possibly some kind of military-ish power? Maybe a cop.
Emryl - elemental kama. Can't think of a power to go with it, so probably vanilla.
Eret - dragon, tank one kill. Otherwise, vanilla.
Finnah - dragon, tank one kill. Possibly something related to her studying kamai.
Hallai - dragon, tank one kill. Strong empath, determine the alignment of one person per night?
Ilen - dragon, tank one kill. Something related to Hallai, if both characters exist.
Keo - dragon, tank one kill. Unique green group, determine if a person is a threat to them without learning their name or alignment. ex: if Keo is town, and [target] is mafia, comes up as threat. if [target] is town, comes up as safe.
Leekath - vampire, possibly nocturnal/can see one person's night actions.
Myret - apothecary, potions? She's not a witch with magic though, so I think just vanilla.
Runa - vanilla townie.
Ryll - cop power due to parliamentary role? Probably more likely to be vanilla.
Soraak - vanilla townie.
Thiies - vampire, nocturnal? Cop power due to parliamentary role?
As for the travelling and then prom and AP, I went to the world championships of my school's robotics league, and have been trying to catch up in schoolwork since. Which is unfortunate, since AP tests start next week and prom is two weeks and 4 weeks after those start.

You are permitted on the honor system to make trivial formatting edits. Fuck with this privilege and it will disappear.

I really need to get better at forming suspicions. As things stand, my list of strange actions, which should be generating suspicions, instead reads more like a list of justifications for why nobody is suspicious and everyone is obviously just suffering from externalities of some sort or another. That is not good mafia strategy. I need to overhaul my list-generation method, because working this way is extremely unlikely to lead to useful results unless the killers make themselves more obvious than they seem likely to at this rate. It's especially weird because I was doing fine at it earlier in the game, jumping on Alphabeta for all his day-one non-cooperativeness. So I've actually gotten worse as the game has gone on. It's inconvenient. And getting even worse now that we're posting suspicions earlier, although I do agree that early suspicion-posting is a good idea for anyone capable of it. I'll try to come up with a more useful suspicion-generation algorithm tomorrow, and hopefully not get left too far behind by all the discussion which will inevitably happen in the meantime.
