Define things? Characters, templates, galleries, posts? On the edit page or when pressing save?

When I try to attach a gallery to a character and when I attempt to make a new character. When pressing save.

Fixed a character-related bug, does creating/saving work now?

Template editing is now up too.

Changelog:

• Fixed a bug when creating or saving characters
• Created a Facecasts page. It can be sorted by facecast (default) or by character/template name.
• Started a feature to allow people to group their characters and templates. Some of this is live on the site so I can test it, but it's not especially safe to use yet.
• Some updates to the characters page list view UI: template names are now linked to the template.
• The template dropdown and gallery dropdown on the character editor now offer the search box earlier, and are sorted alphabetically.
• You can edit galleries and templates

Depending on how my plane ride goes, there may be a bunch of things later tonight as well xD

So I made a fancy new UI for adding icons to a gallery, but stupidly left in a limit I was using to test. So that page will probably not do what you want until I land tonight. Unless the icon you wanted to add happens to be in your first ten icons, anyway xD

Various updates:

• The fancy new UI for adding icons to a gallery no longer has the accidental limit
• There is a fancier UI for adding icons to the website (more than one at once?! WHAT MADNESS)
• You can give attribution on icons
• You can click on the icon on a post to see the icon page, which for now just displays the icon, its keyword and its attribution (plus the edit options if it's yours)
• You can edit icons
• The facecast page and icon view pages no longer require being logged in to view

People have been awesome about suggesting features so far and I love you guys for it; I don't suppose people have thoughts on specifically "this is a feature I'd want before I would seriously use the site" vs "this is a feature I want at some point" so I can prioritize? :)

Sometime next year (probably within the first week describable as such) I will look at your scraper, my scraper from the Effulgence ebook thread, and Throne3d’s scraper from the same thread, and see if anything can be improved about yours. I don’t think anybody will want to use the new site for anything real until the transition would be almost seamless, and I can think of a few places where there could be bugs in a scraper.

I will also look into ebook export from the new site, but that feature is probably not critical.

haha I discovered a thing!

in the icons view of my character page, if you scroll down to Plus ("dear, sweet, squeamish, soulful Sherlock"), there is a weird Thing going on with the alignment of the next row of icons after him. I *suspect* this is because the contents of his name field are more than two lines long in the display. The same sort of shit happens on my icon galleries page when I have an especially long icon keyword.
