Q&A with Rockeye

If it's germane, yet doesn't fit into another category, it can go here.

We haven't seen any Nick native from from Earth, but my assessment of the others is that they are likely to go "This a obvious capitalism motivated holiday" + his general fear of attachments, if he got a gift his likely reaction would be "I am not indebted to give one to you" which even Nick can tell is rude and he would do it anyway.

It's more the nomadic lifestyle and freebird type thinking than anything else. He doesn't think he has anyone who qualifies as close enough for giftings. He'd give a gift to Loki in our Loki box by sheer force of acquaintance. Same thing with most of the Spacenick visited places. But in Nickspace Christmas is not a thing so he'd have to get it explained by a local.

Gren more or less has two levels of motivation. "might as well try" and "two steps below 'will do it if it's the last thing I do' ". Not quite such a neat divide as I make it sound, but the general idea holds.

What kind of critters Gren, Nick and Stell would be if they got alts from Medallion (The Magical Critters world with avalons and stuff)?

Heh, I guess Sphinx makes sense for Gren. I can see a flying lizard for our dear Nick. But why in the heck Steel gets a bugbear?

I deliberately picked 'em without thinking about it, much like their daemons, so I don't know why my unconscious spat back 'bugbear'

huh. Dunno, but Stell comes off as more... "regal"? like a critter associated with nobility. Like Gryphon or even that super-strong lion.

Just realized it's probably really confusing that I use the same account for multiple instances of a character.

Too bad, setting up accounts is a massive pain.

I don't imagine anyone will mind much, it's already pretty common (I know Kappa does it a lot).
