Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
I have not read any threads with this yet, but do they have an explanation of what each card does in much detail? If not, could you post one in a spoilerbox here?
Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
Revan seems to be being pretty good about pushing for detail here, but it comes interspersed with dialogue and in no sensible order, so you might still want a summary.
Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
What Ezra has said: Pair of Pawns is the one that gets into the most detail about the cards so far. As for posting full, detailed explanations of what each card is and does, I'll get to that at a later point - all of this is in a physical notebook of mine so I am doing a lot of data entry. Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
Presenting it as Tarot cards made it sound like there were going to be approximately as much variation as a Tarot deck; when you mentioned five classes, I assumed those went with the suits (wands/pentacles/swords/cups/trumps).
Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
I think the reluctance/malevolence I'm seeing in the Shadows is much like the Bartimaeus demons when they're harshly bound.
Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
In part, this awkwardness is deliberate, due to how Shadopolis works as a whole: however, it's also so that I have a very large amount of room for future expansion.PlainDealingVillain wrote:Presenting it as Tarot cards made it sound like there were going to be approximately as much variation as a Tarot deck; when you mentioned five classes, I assumed those went with the suits (wands/pentacles/swords/cups/trumps).
Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
Because it amuses me to do so, I am collating available information on the choice (not on the setting at large) into a pad here.
Eva, did you skip these questions deliberately, or did you lose them?Bluelantern wrote:Could a person ask the nightmare beast to bring another person later? Does a Tarot card can be picked again later? Any problems with leaving a note behind?

The answers to all of these are "It depends, but under any set of circumstances that can be called normal - no." Sorry for the delay!Ezra wrote:Because it amuses me to do so, I am collating available information on the choice (not on the setting at large) into a pad here.

Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
I’m sure you could ask the nightmare beast, but not actually get that request granted.
My thoughts on the best and worst card are different from what you said the standard choices are, but I just skimmed the pad and probably missed some key points.

Re: Eva's List of Settings for Glowfic
I am definitely interested in the ways that people rank these cards in relation to each other! I am willing to let this thread host discussion of said rankings.DanielH wrote:I’m sure you could ask the nightmare beast, but not actually get that request granted.
