oh. the way they solved it worked pretty well.

I think that kind of thing might still be safe if Linya arranges it, and asked questions they hadn't prediscussed. It's unlikely that they would think to ask all the things.

I guess if I wasn't sure about my girlfriend or if she weren't sure of me, we could start talking mental math. I doubt a clone of either of us would have specialised in the exact same ways. We both have a reasonable idea of what sorts of math problems we can do but people outside the relationship are less likely to know. She could also test my ability to memorise long strings -- that's not innate but acquired in adulthood through personal interest and a clone of me who had a different life would have made different life choices. we also have private rituals that we do together where she says her part and I say my part and there is slight variation, but it's long and we'd both notice if the other wasn't feeling it. or we could have a conversation about our areas of interest -- a technical conversation requiring knowledge that can't be faked.

but even if i were asked under fast penta "how best can i impersonate you to your partner" and I told them all the stuff they need to memorise. it would take them years to memorise all of it.

Adarin from the Elspeth sandbox: leaning out of the Milliways door would allow your magic to interact with your own world normally, allowing you to teleport the mirror to a point near the door. (That said, I can believe that these characters might not know enough about Milliways at this point to think of that.)

A constraint on sandboxes is that we don't want them to try to escape. (That's why Aether keeps finding Milliways - she doesn't try to escape, compared to most Bells.)

Revival, please, be less squirmy with killing the murderous dragons, please, just this once?

And everyone else: consider creating a ressurection that brings people as permanent humans

Annie could close her eyes, touch the necklace, and leave; the effects won't activate unless she sees Aldaras, and she probably won't get necklaced to anyone else.

They don't know if for a reciprocal necklacing it requires seeing post-touching. She already has seen him.

It is not like they know how common Annie's potential mates are.

Anyway

Phix and Max, don't be shy to use a high-def tv ceiling for the dinner hall so you can simulate the one in hogwarts, also, create at least one underwater-with-glass-ceiling place and at least one bottomless pit. It is a magical school after all.

I think the Dean told them it would definitely be reciprocal.

Conduit and Flicker: it is really impolite to invite your alts to renovate Charlies House without permission!
