Defending myself!
I'm mostly keeping quiet because I have no idea what's going on. I haven't played in-person Mafia in a while, and online Mafia is even more confusing. I didn't want to say anything that might cast suspicion onto myself(whether or not suspicion is warranted), but it appears that that has backfired on me spectacularly. Ah well. I honestly don't think I'm harmful, but I guess getting killed on the third day wouldn't be too bad? If you don't decide to kill me, I'll probably be a very quiet spectator until I've figured out how all of this works.
While I have the spotlight, I'd like to add that I am suspicious of Aestrix for getting our cop killed, but am bad at reading people even when body language is involved, so my opinion is probably not very important. That is all.

I do apologize for accidentally getting the cop killed, but he was acting suspicious and murdery! I don't regret my actions but I do regret the result.

I should have said this earlier, but I uploaded the Day 2 crypto zip during the night. I won't actually post when I get it up in the future. I'll add stuff to the index after sleep. In case anybody other than me is interested in the zip files, I'll try to remember to update the script for Day 3 to include verifying SHA-256 hashes. There will already be a minor change to it to fix a small issue in the PGP checking.
@Tamien, IIRC every single person still alive has posted an encrypted/hashed roleclaim, but not everybody has included powers. I don't think we agreed on when we'd actually reveal the claims.

Oops! I meant to do that the other day but got distracted. Sorry!

I think we should reveal the claims at the beginning of the next day, if there isn't a compelling reason to reveal them today.

I'm... not entirely sure why we would reveal roleclaims before we have to - i.e. the person in questions is in danger of being lynched, no one seems to believe whatever (magically gained) information they're giving etc. I suppose being able to aim at the Mafia somewhat more easily might be worth having the Mafia being able to reliably aim at useful people... It bares very careful consideration either way. Unless you mean people only revealing role without revealing coded roleclaims? I guess that's slightly less dangerous...

I agree. Let's say that Carlisle has posted crypto that they are Carlisle. Carlisle had no reason not to do this because Carlisle expected the crypto to only be revealed as a last resort against being lynched. We can all guess that means that they are a doctor and we can all look at the mafia wiki to find out what a doctor's role usually is. Let's also say that Carlisle is not under any suspicion right now, they're one of the many players who is just noodling along trying not to attract too much attention to themselves while also trying not to lurk too obviously. Let's say that we all decide to mass reveal our roleclaims publically right now. Carlisle was relying on not having to reveal that until they came under suspicion. If Carlisle doesn't reveal that they are Carlisle now, they can go on protecting people quietly each night. If Carlisle does reveal themselves now they will be killed tonight for sure. And then we'll be out a doctor too. We've already killed our cop. The only people who don't figure out that Carlisle is the doctor are people who didn't read Luminosity and people who are bad at remembering names, but they can find the answer by googling anyway.
Now instead of Carlisle let's assume we're talking about Chainsaw. Chainsaw on day 1 did not post that the were chainsaw because Chainsaw isn't stupid. Chainsaw posted that they were Siobhan because it's a minor enough role that it's likely to not be in the game at all and thus unlikely for there to be a conflict. Chainsaw reveals that they are Siobhan when everybody does the mass roleclaim. We still don't know who Chainsaw is. But now we do all know who Carlisle is and Chris and Bella and Pen (if there is a Pen I'm guessing they're a silent witness character). And the killers do too.
Honest town folk like myself were honest in our role claims. I'm sure Andais's encrypted text said he was Charlie and if he were still alive and we were mass roleclaiming today he would be killed tonight for sure. Public mass roleclaiming at this early stage in the game is just going to hurt us regular people and not going to hurt the killers at all. Public mass roleclaiming may have a role in the end game, when we're down to just a few people left, a stage the mafia wiki described as lylo (lynch or lose) or mylo (mislynch and lose). when that is depends on how many killers there are, but it's basically the last turn of the game when if you make a misstep, the killers will outnumber the townspeople and from that point on there's nothing the townspeople can do to win because they don't have enough votes. I don't know how many killers there are but we need 13 votes to kill somebody and i would be seriously surprised if the number of killers was 9 or 11 or something like that, so however many killers there are, we're nowhere near lylo/mylo.

Alright, that's fair enough. I'm not well-versed in Mafia strategy and hadn't really thought it through.
