There were 13 in Effulgence continuity on the wiki (and, according to Marri below, on the spreadsheet). I’m guessing the person on reddit missed one of the ones without a nickname.

The Sherlock category has 17 pages. One of them is about the template, the others are 16 Glowficcy Sherlock characters, not all of whom are in Effulgence. Nine of the ones with something in parentheses are in Effulgence (the one labelled Solaris is Resplendence), as are Sarelle Dochenza, Serahila ei Halonte, Sherial, and Silver Streak. The other two (Shiral Mahariel and Syriel), are in Pixiethreads.

Edit to add: Full disclosure, when I first counted the wiki ones to check the Sherlock count (I corrected it before posting the first version of this comment, which to the best of my knowledge was write all along), I made two mistakes that cancelled each other out: I counted the template page as an Effulgence Sherlock, and I forgot Serahila ei Halonte. It really is difficult to generate these counts without making careless errors.

Further edit: The above was in fact wrong; Solaris is not Effulgence. This means that my above Edit to add was missing a third mistake.

There are people on Reddit counting Effulgence templates???

If you look carefully, I put it there shortly before posting my Yep, because they did not yet have explanations for the counts and we did.

I have CategoryIntersection enabled on the wiki, guys. Bell/Effulgence gets you 38 because it's counting Izzy's clone Ara and Lorica who's not threaded yet. Sherlock/Effulgence is somehow getting me 13, which means I probably did a thing wrong and should go poke at it xD

EDIT: I still get 13 on the spreadsheet. Sherlocks have appeared in threads in: Apollo, Arceus, Atlantis, Chronicle, Circle, Doyle, Equestria, Fantasia, Helios, Phaeton, Quinn, Sunshine and Thilanushinyel. Is there a 14th I blanked on?

EDIT MOAR: I FIGURED IT OUT. There is a Sherlock from Solaris listed, who is from Resplendence not Effulgence.

Okay, guys, I gave Eliezer these numbers myself. He counted every Bell in the first two sections of Roll Call except Ara. Of Sherlocks, the 14 count includes Strat, Plus, Pearl, Steel, Cloud, Minus, Sherial, Arceus one, Rahi, Fantasia one, Phaeton one, Silver Streak, Sary, and Mark.

Ah. We were all forgetting about Mark. I think of JokerSherlock as separate from Sherlock.

Would you think it appropriate to put Mark in the Joker and Sherlock categories on the Wiki too?

For whatever reason I think mark as "half-of-a-sherlock" pun not intended.

He's currently listed as a JokerSherlock, because that is its own thing, but "additionally tag him as a Joker and a Sherlock" seems perfectly reasonable to me.
