Source Sans Pro doesn’t really look good when they talk about the Illiad. I like clearsans best, followed by notosans then Open Sans. Although I’m curious how these look with various formatting options like italics.

...Those notosans screenshots fail the Iliad test even though Noto Sans passes it. What went wrong?

They pass it better than Source Sans Pro because the I and l are at least different heights, but they don’t pass it well.

Noto Sans on the FontSquirrel site has a barred I, though!

… I don't know what broke about it? I don't appear to have even tested it, but for some reason I labeled screenshots for it? (Weird, sorry.)

Ugh, developing on a plane without wifi: difficult. Mostly both board sections and tagging need new javascript libraries I wasn't able to download, Because Wifi. Sad.

Plane updates:

• There's now a UI to unhide things, you can get to it from the Unread page.
• I fixed a bug where completed posts with no replies would crash.
• If you provide a valid per_page number that's not in my default list, it will now display in the UI while you're using it. While I was at it, I removed 1 from the per_page options (I was just using it to test) and fixed it to correctly use the 25 default when provided an invalid per_page like 'abc'.
• There's a Completed filter on the search page now. There are also links to both "search all of this user's posts" and "search all of this user's completed posts" from their profile page. (Things I really need a UI for: user profile pages, wow.)
• I FINALLY tracked down Alicorn's bug. I think. My Javascript hack to deal with Firefox's method of caching form values upon refresh was not playing nicely with characters whose names included a |. That's fixed now.

Currently prioritized as Up Next at least in theory: board sections, tagging posts, character groups. Prooobably in that order?

Also, I wasn't going to put up a Donate button until I felt the site was More Done, but given that people are using it pretty heavily even in beta and I've been paying for it for a few months now... Iiiii might go and do that sooner rather than later.

Potential bug report: All of Alicorn’s icons across multiple characters seem to be glitching. This is Sun-Times but bit always fixed by reloading the page. If it happened for all authors I would think it was my device, but it doesn’t seem to. Another possible explanation is that she is messing with her icons while I’m trying to load the page maybe?

It would be helpful if the "Hidden from Unread" page had more information--if not the full Continuity/Authors/Replies/#Unread/Last Updated that appears elsewhere, then at least Authors and Last Updated. Thanks!
