Re: The Glowfic Constellation
I have again gotten the thing where I go to edit a tag and the icon is sometimes reset to the default if I don't re-select the correct one while I'm editing.

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Minor bug report: # Unread does not seem to be working as intended for new threads (i.e. ones the user hasn't seen at all yet)--I'd expect # Unread to display either [# of replies in thread] or [# of replies in thread + 1], depending on how you conceptualize the first post, but right now it just says '-'.
(Thank you for adding the # Unread column, BTW--it's incredibly useful, mimics how I read DW threads, and I already can't imagine having to do without it. Thanks Adelene for suggesting it!)

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
The "-" is a deliberate choice meant to highlight the fact that you haven't read any posts in that thread yet at all.
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
What Kappa said- I personally am behind on my reading enough that I'm finding it super useful to be able to skim down to see what I'm already reading vs haven't started (and if you haven't opened a thread, it's not like you can't just look at the # Replies to get the count, it's just not duplicated). Is it bothering people for reasons I have not considered?
Re: The Glowfic Constellation
More features I would find handy, in case other people are thinking the same thing about any of them:
Possibly character groups will cover this once they're installed, but I would find a "sort by world" option on the Characters page to be helpful. (So I can tell at a glance if I've made instances of all the characters I need for a particular world, if they look like the right relative ages, etc.)
Links from someone's author page to view all of their threads/their completed threads (the first is somewhat covered by "recent posts," the second not at all.) Often when I've read some of someone's writing I go "ooh I want to read all of their finished threads now."
When I'm skimming threads, which characters appear is a big factor in determining which I'm in the mood for reading; if other people feel the same way it might be nice to have that information appear somewhere on the pages that list threads (Sandboxes, Unread, Recently Updated). (Possibly just the summary, e.g., "Carmines and Silvers in Cardverse"?) (Only if other people feel the same way of course, since information overload on those pages would also be irritating.)
ETA: Oh, and: possibly a special mark next to a thread on the "Tags Owed" page if there's been more than one post since your last one? I have a frequent failure mode of having someone I'm writing with make a couple of posts in a row and only noticing the first or last one when I reply, especially if there's a page break in the middle.

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Sort by world would be pretty cool - maybe something like having the world field automatically turn into a character group...? Or would that be silly? IDK.
I could've sworn somebody already brought up having the little thread summaries appear alongside the thread title in places. It is a good idea.

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Pushed what I think is a fix for Alicorn's default image bug. If anyone experiences further issues with their image displaying or saving (or both) incorrectly, please let me know.
I have not yet decided how to overlap character groups with setting-tags for posts with settings for characters. I might need a polymorphic Setting table which can apply to both characters or posts.
I like the completed threads idea, might be covered by the Search option once I add all the planned features.
Thread summaries appearing in the UI somehow is on the list; displaying thread characters might cause spoilers, but I'll think about it.
Not sure about special marks, maybe just a # Recent like we've got on Unread page?

Re: The Glowfic Constellation
Various fonts have been suggested in the IRC for webfonts on the Constellation, mainly ones that differentiate between lowercase "L" and uppercase "i" (l and I).

Opinions? I think people were leaning away from "share". I think I'd lean towards "Source Sans Pro", "clearsans" or "Open Sans" (and I'm currently using Open Sans through Stylish).
