I have no idea who anybody is because I'm hopeless at faces. I could keep track when it was just bells and whistles + sherlocks and tonies (who i never got confused with each other even when they were played by the same actor, they look completely different to me!), but we've long past the point where i can't keep up anymore. but it's okay i am enjoying these people and pretending that the duke of Reko is someone entirely new until otherwise informed: D

Reko has totally been met before! It says who he is in his user account, in fact. Or for the lazy: he's an alt of Emperor Gregor Vorbarra of Barrayar.

I am always delighted when I succeed at recognizing a face; it happens so rarely. I go by behaviors (especially useful for identifying Bells and Jokers, but can be used on many other characters), screennames (either because alts use the same screenname or if they follow a pattern), and character names (a Bell's character name is a pretty good indicator). Reko uses the same account as his only existing alts, but we haven't seen them on screen enough for me to have identified him by personality (though I could have done so by relation to Milo).

ooooooh! Now I understand what people were saying about why they wanted Miles to meet Milo! Well, there's always the nexus millways thing

edit: @Daniel: yeah, me too! It's pretty easy to recognise a new joker or a new Bell because we're so familiar with them by now. It's just harder with the newer characters. I might get as far as "that screenname is familiar" but not much farther than that with new ones.

Well, now he's wishing he could. But he doesn't know her name; she got vassaled by swallowing a vial of stuff. In the unlikely event that he gets a chance he'll send some people to capture the first fairy they see (preferably Yellow, who's conveniently also the only fairy he knows where to find), torture his name out of him, and order him to revoke Promise's orders. And get Promise's name while he's at it.

Also, and this is a spoiler for Mistborn that I've decided the Lord Ruler doesn't know yet: his best minions are pretty thoroughly controllable by Ruin, so if they got her name it would be Very Bad. He himself is getting influenced more and faster over the centuries. (By the time canon takes place he's all "BOW BEFORE YOUR GOD" and "let the executions begin"). If Promise accepts the extra superpowers it will allow Ruin to plant thoughts in her head whenever she's on Scadrial, but it cannot directly make her accept them. Letting Ruin into her head is the real reason he offered it. He only thinks it was his idea.

Oh, that's right..
Probably good thing for the world even if it's bad for my desire to see things go to hell :P

..I may have to read Mistborn now.
