Gren: It's a fun time, even if all the festivals and so on are overly religious.

Metalwork is relaxing, and sculpture can represent a lot of feeling in a compact package.

Why would Nick not participate? I can imagine a lot of potential reasons (for example, his poor family relations, or the nomadic lifestyle) but none seem likely to be quite it.
