or maybe "me play me" could mean "i play with myself" (?!). "[bees] not you [bees]" could be something like "It is not your [bees] that I [bees]". I'm not sure what "light" would mean here; maybe something about lightheartedness?

Probably at least one of us was, yes.
I don't think I would have ever guessed "business" in the sense of "things I'm allowed to pay attention to".
