You're on the Effulgence spreadsheet, you claimed Silver.

Oh no, lack of standardization! Who else is on the spreadsheet?

I agree with DanielH; it seems like a bad idea for everyone to dogpile on different shades of blue, especially when there are more colors open xD

Let's leave Bluelantern with his claimed silver. Cyan isn't too terribly redundant (in e.g. Russian there are different basic color words for cyan and darker blues) but let's leave Aestrix bluespace in general.

I will forever regret not getting gold, but that is fair. (edit: this is a joke, I am happy with Silver, even if it isn't the warmest color)

Speaking of gold, I'm going to claim to retroactively have had that for the last three months. Hopefully I'll use it again soon.

I'm going to go ahead and claim violet, with an option for Eva to claim that depending on how we hash it out between ourselves.

Legit question from a non-artsy sort: difference between violet, lavender and normal purple?

In common usage I believe they are different shades of the same basic color, as seen in the second post of this thread.

In more technical scientific terms, “violet” is a specific range of frequencies of light, and “purple” isn’t a frequency of light at all but the thing you get from mixing red and blue. Since computers display colors using red, green, and blue pixels they cannot make technically-violet.
