I wonder if BEEs are even a thing outside Effulgence?

"Most powerful person in universe" is not exactly the qualification for a BEE. BEEs tend to be powerful, but are not always the most powerful.

It might work something like this: At the time that a person comes to fundamentally represent their universe in some way, if it does not already have a BEE, they become its BEE. Once a universe has a BEE, that person is its BEE forever and no one else can replace them.

Yeah, I will be surprised if Harry doesn't meet that standard by the end of the concluding trilogy. (Off-topic: I absolutely love the names for that trilogy, and that he picked the names for them before he'd written book 8 of the 20 Files books.)

also, I was thinking about alternate ways to get to Milliways and this came up in the league sandbox. Funny enough, lost in the woods was not an alternative (there was lost in the caves, though)
