Anyone want to help me find a male version of this lovely character?

Image

Her facial expressions are mostly happy, very happy, vacantly staring into space, pensative, and sometimes extremely disappointed in a grandmotherly way.

(Apparently that's pretty small on this forum so here's the link: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/mms ... 1109171402.)

I need a facecast for a new character, Isra. The main atributes are: paleness, black hair, young adult male, and a smile that makes you wonder if he was a victim of comicbook's Joker.

Hollow-art doesn't have Gwendoline Christie! I need a Gwendoline Christie! Are there other websites where I can find Gwendoline Christie icons, or at least sufficiently Gwendoline-Christie-like people?

Googling “Gwendoline Christie icons” gives some Tumblr pages. I don’t know if you’d consider them any good, though, and am myself pretty bad at judging icons.

I have been known to also use this site for icons, and they have a couple of Gwendoline Christie. Other things that have worked: Google Images with the image size set to "Exact: 100 x 100", or in desperate times (mostly Vivian before I learned to search her facecast as 孙俪 instead of Sun Li) I'll take high quality images I like from Google and use super basic photo editors on whatever computer I'm on to crop to a square and resize down to 100x100.

You know when you upload a picture to dreamwidth if it's not icon size you can take an icon-size chunk of it, right?

Presumably it is better to use icons collections because they come with more variety. Not to mention manage to create several icons from the same scene/episode which sort of gives the character a more coherent feel.

Right, but if you're getting your icons off google anyway you don't necessarily need to run it through an editor first

The dreamwidth icon-from-arbitrary-image thing sometimes seems to leave people with icons that are not quite precisely 100x100 pixels, and this is Terrible. (Well, I mean, I can sit on my weird peeves if someone wants their off-proportion icons, but giving you off-proportion icons that you didn't specifically want is just bad.)

Glowfic Site seems to agree with your weird peeves. So I made Novelty a square icon.
