How would Ari react to the realization that the Administrator is from even more outside than most Outsiders, with which the 8th Law forbids interaction? I guess that applies to Promise too, but since he's technically more outside than Outside is also it might not matter.

that would apply to Milliways and for that matter, Rapunzel, right?

Ari actually considered this briefly in the Rapunzel sandbox, and can be assumed to have thought of it equally briefly in later sandboxen. Belinda once showed him the vague impression of what Outsiders look like, though, and it isn't that. It really, really isn't that. And Outsiders are so deeply alien that it seems kind of ridiculous to him that they could possibly pretend to be human or anything like it. Harry might still worry, but of all the things Ari is, Harry Dresden is not one of them.

If the Administrator is a BEE, and Probably-God is of about equal power, how can Probably-God not know about elsewhere?

EDIT: spoilered the spoilers

I'm pretty sure that God is not the BEE for the Dresdenverse, which is part of her trouble. Not 100% sure who is, but it isn't her. And she's never checked for other universes, though she could probably find them if she tried; she's got administratorlike powers. A good 70% of which is devoted to maintaining the boundaries of a ridiculously unstable world, but still.

Having not rear Dresden Files and going purely on what's in-thread (only one being of approximately equivalent power), if it iin't God then there isn't one.

I just realized a reason the Administrator might want to use the relevant spoilered ability, but that belongs in the thread specifically devoted to it

In all honesty, I think that the BEE for the Dresden files is Harry Dresden. Because God has a ton of power, but Harry is much more "a personification of her universe" than she is.

He doesn't have BEE powers currently, but I will be unsurprised if he looks a lot like a BEE by the end of Empty Night/Stars and Stones/Hell's Bells. Especially since that trilogy is supposedly going to be a Dresdenverse Ragnarok-equivalent.

Dresden Files as just moved to a lower priority on my not-technically-infinite To Read list because I had previously thought it was finished. Other than that, I agree with PlainDealingVillain about the spoilered bits. From his Elcenia thread, he very clearly is not a BEE at least at that point. He cannot instantiate templates into his universe, he isn’t insanely powerful in the “you automatically lose if you consider fighting him” sense, etc. He might be a good fighter, but he clearly isn’t unbeatable

By the way, do we need to keep spoiling stuff about BEEs? They still haven’t quite been discussed in-thread, but they almost have a few times.

I don't think Harry will ever become the BEE of his universe.

I also have no idea who would be... the BEE. There are some pretty OP characters in that universe, and the BEE would have to be more powerful than them.

Scary.
