If you change the private key on the website, it won't change the displayed public key because the UI is horrible, but it will encrypt things with the provided key.
A Schelling point for fans of Alicorn-related things

It's standard for the killers in a game of Mafia to know each other, so it was a fairly safe assumption for him to make, to the point where he might not have even realized it was an assumption.jalapeno_dude wrote:(That being said, I got a little more suspicious of him when he seemed to know that the killers knew each other when we hadn't been told that. As he has conclusively been revealed to be not a killer, I guess my brief suspicion was misplaced.)

It’s true; I now find BSS more suspicious than I did on day 1. On the other hand, the killers know that too, so might have purposefully left her alive banking on that suspicion. Finally, Alphabeta responded with crypto, which I find suspicious.
Alphabeta, now that BlueSkySprite is still alive today, but the person with whom you were conversing is dead, do you want to reveal what you were saying there?
Probably because I was too obvious in trying to draw their attention to me and they thought I was bulletproof or a bomb or actually normal and just lying about not being normal. As far as I know, I am none of those things. But that's also what I would say if I was, so. I guess I'll just have to gain their distrust by engaging constructively in conversation.DanielH wrote:Thatwasademo, same question.
Well that's what I tried to do. I copied the large private key it had given me before in and tried to encrypt with it and it said "false".DanielH wrote:If you change the private key on the website, it won't change the displayed public key because the UI is horrible, but it will encrypt things with the provided key.
