So many people with short height from weak bones would become taller, but Miles would not any more than Mial would become a dragon?

Would any other shren become a dragon?

I don't know how becoming a daeva interacts with siahrs to begin with, what with the shapeshifting thing and the dragon magic thing, but taken as a question purely about this transformation process and what it might or might not apply to as a psychological matter, many shrens would become dragons.

When a demon creates something large, it is possible for them to specify the exact volume-per-time it shows up?

They can slow down as much as they like, but there's a maximum speed.

Can a demon delay part of the construction for later, to get a higher instantaneous speed? That is, could a demon stare at an empty spot for a few weeks and then have a star appear instantly, instead of trying to build a star over the course of weeks?

That doesn't sound very likely?

No, except I think I remember something about that being the case. It would also be a lot easier to build something dynamic like a sun if that were possible.

Demons can't do that. I mean, designing on the fly will slow you down if your thing's complicated at *all*, but that's not the same.

Format conversions are possible. Could Cam conjure his letters out of the noodles used in alphabet soup (or any other shapable food) and then eat them, in order to avoid the disposal problem?

Yes. He could also print it out on edible paper. However, the disposal problem is not bad enough that eating food he doesn't want for its tastiness and not occasionally having paper letters from his parents is a reasonable way to attack it.
