Okay, does anyone else share the same PM structure as Paradox? Because if Tamien and Paradox are alone here I am reevaluating Tamien.

I fear we may be getting into the illegal weeds with respect to textual analysis, but that's the structure of my PM.

Eva, I did not find you suspicious until your opportunistic Miller claim. I am still mostly town reading you, and would be willing to trust that you're a vanilla Townie who feared Millerdom based on vague fluff text in your role PM, except for temporal proximity to some other things I have not yet managed to account for. I can think of interpretations where my suspicions here are paranoia and one or both of you and BSS is Town and I was right to begin with about Paradox being Mafia. I had been *strongly* Town reading both of you, and strongly scum reading Paradox before today, but realized something suspicious was going on before all the Miller stuff went down. I decided to give a bit of time and see if anything allayed my suspicions, and then the Miller stuff came out and made it potentially *worse*. So I felt I had to speak up before I ran out of time. I'd really like to hear from BSS and hopefully put this to bed.

Alicorn has said she doesn't want us analyzing the PMs writing style in detail so I expect the formatting varies to make that more difficult to do. Also, Tamien said hers was formatted like mine so that also suggests the formatting varies.

I realise that claiming it early is usually better but I was nearly sure at the beginning of the game that there were some fairies in play and I still thought there was a good chance there were more fairies after The Queen died so I held off.

(Considering Harriet's role as an-earthfic-writer-writing-fantasy I think it is likely for her to be a miller. If I turn out to be one, then that means Paradox's rolePM is definitely forged, since mine is nowhere near as clear about my millerdom.)

But Tamien's isformatted the same way as Eva's. Name comes first, no line breaks.

Eva--your wording makes me wonder if you have a secret win condition.

By secret I mean even you don't know about it. Or that your win condition could change if some designated event happens.

Tamien and Eva both have PMs like mine (Tamien, what is making Paradox's PM look like yours? They look v different to me?). I'm *slightly* less suspicious of Eva due to her being the first person to match my formatting. Again, that's probably a very weak basis. And I guess the style analysis might be becoming annoying, so I'll try and drop it.

Eva, your role doesn't seem very likely to be a miller to me. Unless you were specifically told that in your PM, I'd be surprised if it were true. (That said, I'm going to be very suspicious if an investigation *does* reveal you to be scum).

And what seems suspicious about all this to you, Tamien? The certainty of accusations trips minor alarm bells for me, but claiming they're backed up by powers seems like a really risky move for scum to make. I'm really curious why/what you think Is Up.

....probably three hours of sleep @_@ - I read Paradox's, went to read mind to compare, and I'm on my phone so I couldn't have them in side by side tabs, so it seemed the same to me and I composed my post without looking at Paradox's again. This makes me feel a bit more relaxed about things and suspect Paradox more again.

What is Up is something to do with BSS and could still be accounted for with them being Town, but Paradox's Miller status is not conclusive evidence. I need to know more about BSS's role and investigations.

I'm leaving to go to lunch and then the airport now. I will not have much more time before the internet cuts out. Can someone on a computer please post a count down?

I think everyone is overestimating the similarity between roles PMs it seems really likely to me that Alicorn would put differences in formatting between PMs.

I'm going to keep my vote on Paradox for now, but let the record show that I am also somewhat suspicious of BSS. Not suspicious enough to move my vote (if nothing else, I don't actually have a better candidate and don't want to mislynch BSS if she does turn out to have a helpful power), but kind of suspicious. I'm inclined to trust Eva because she made some helpful observations near the beginning of the game and she didn't come across as being manipulative the way DanielH did or jalapeño_dude did in his scumgames.

I think there's a non-negligible probability that Paradox is scum and if they aren't then mislynching Paradox is probably better than mislynching a vigilante or a cop or someone and I don't trust myself to pick a better candidate.

I also think it would be a good idea to bring back the "list all the people currently playing and write down how you're reading them" thing that some people were doing last game. Can anyone think of an obvious drawback to doing this? If not, I think we should start doing that during the next day cycle.
