You imagine correctly about Fire! I'm intrigued by that screenname for him; did you get it somewhere in particular? It's not ringing any bells, but I could just be missing something.

It's from "better to burn out than to fade away", from Hey Hey My My by Neil Young.

Quick thought for Fire:
Dunno what sort of music you like (besides Alice Cooper) but Sonata Arctica has a song called "Wildfire" that I was listening to the other day that might have interesting screennames from it.

Some stuff I thought of from it (some might fit other characters more so than Fire)

I'm not very good at working from these sorts of prompts, but if you need a screen name for someone with lightning or weather associations, how about "calmbeforethe"? If Stormy weren't already screennamed and threaded I'd suggest it for her, but maybe there's someone else it could work for?
For Cherry Cordial, you could probably find something good in
Laelius de Amicitia. Just skimming through the first part, I'd suggest amicitiae_gloria_excellens, but it's one character too long and hard to parse without the underscores. Maybe just gloria_excellens?

Ooh. Nice find, Tamien! :D
edit: I would love "benevolentia et caritate" (from section 20 - "goodwill and affection") if it weren't so effing long and didn't need such heinously unbalanced underscores to parse right. XD
I have much the same conflict over "tantas_opportunitates" (from section 22, seems to mean something like "such opportunities", I don't know why the translator went with "advantages" and then footnoted 'Or more literally "adaptabilities," "occasions when it can be fitly used."')
Shorter but not quite so on point is "ipso_amore" ("[in the] love itself", section 31).
"honesta_faciamus" ("let us do [only] what is honourable [for our friends]", section 44) is pretty funny, considering what template this is going to be XD
I am having so much fun going through this thing XD

I have not taken Latin in years, be warned. But I got my Classics major friend to check my work, so if I am wrong I blame her!
The extremely competent Latin dictionary published by Tufts translates "opportunitas" as
"fitness, convenience or suitableness" rather than its cognate "opportunity". "Opportunitates" is (I can explain if you care but I'll spare y'all a Latin verb forms speech) just the plural of "opportunitas". The full sentence from the link is "friendship has such {plural of opportunitas}", which seems reasonable to me to translate as "friendship has such conveniences", and colloquially "advantages" is probably a bit more readable than "conveniences."
