Did MWF Lurker ever get around to adopting tribes out to worthy homes? Would MWF Raezenoth adopt some desert kobolds?

This would be much cute.

She didn't, and I'm not sure that would work if she tried - heavily nomadic kobolds are much harder to keep from harassing the neighbors than ones who are content to stay mostly in one place. Including, I think, neighbors in other domains; I feel like Rae's domain is probably a rather smaller area than they're used to staying in over long periods of time.

(Man now I want an Arabek!Dusk/displaced desert kobolds Yvette and Revan thread, though. That sounds adorable and fun. ^^)

So I am currently contemplating Milliways Lurker, the one who can teleport there and camps out sometimes selling or trading teleportation magic. In particular the trading bit; anybody want to help me brainstorm what kinds of nifty gear she might have available? I'm thinking that she's inclined to pick up some weapon-type stuff, but she's much more interested in defensive (to allow her to safely visit other worlds) and utility things, or multipurpose stuff.

Someone from Terraria might have offered her an accessory or two, even if she didn't want weapons/armor.

Someone from Thedas might have offered her an amulet or other accessory with a personal enhancement rune in it; available enhancements are endurance, stamina, hardiness, sight, agility, speed, strength, resistance to injury, resistance to magic, and a menacing aura.

Good ideas ^^

She would totally take armor; using her own magic she has spells to bring her home (or back to Milliways, she put in a toggle for that) automatically if she's sufficiently frightened or in pain or losing blood, on top of the fact that she can just teleport herself out if she wants to and isn't too distracted to activate that spell, but surprise attacks are still dangerous, so having armorlike defenses available on top of that does make sense.

Terraria armor is probably inconvenient for anyone who's not a Terrarian anyway, because it's designed to be put on and taken off using the Terraria inventory mechanic, which isn't available to non-Terrarians. But yeah.

I have the vague feeling that I've got more great ideas somewhere, but the actual ideas are not appearing.

Lurker probably does not require a Rose?

A few different universes might have potions to share.

Roses seem to me like they'd make her register as magical, even when retracted, which means she can't really use one. And even if they don't, the pain makes them pretty unappealing. (The requirement that she practice doesn't help, either, if she has other options available.)

Potions, yes.

It occurs to me that in terms of things from Bar, she's saving up for a (ridiculously expensive) personal helicopter with cloaking tech to bring home and use for long distance scouting of good places to let her tribe teleport to, if that gives anyone any inspiration.

People keep being confused about this, so, clarification:

Portalbold's portals are one-way. The input side is where the spell is; it must be an object, if the object breaks the spell breaks, all that. The output side is a fixed point (field, whatever), usually in midair somewhere, or up against a wall or something if that makes sense for the application, but apart from the fact that it might show up as magical to some sorts of magic-detection if the portal is open, there's not actually anything there; someone walking through a single portal appears to be just stepping out of midair, and someone from the output side walking through that fixed point is entirely unaffected. In order to get a two-way portal, she has to cast two spells, and those two spells are still independent: both need to be cast on objects, if the enspelled thing on one side breaks the other one is unaffected, one can be closed without the other one being, and so on.

I'm not sure how to describe this in-thread in a way that makes it more obvious and am open to suggestions on that count.
