Only if she were incapable of preventing Bella from learning about her precognition would that even start to look like a good idea, and at that point hypothetical-dictionary-attacker Alice would win no matter what.

Sure, and of course *we* know that Alice wouldn't do that anyway. But it's something I could see a Bella-with-limited-information being paranoid about. How do I distinguish between a friendly precog with limited capabilities and an unfriendly super-powerful one? I might think that the friendly one is more likely to reveal their powers to me, and if she has limited powers she's more likely to screw up and then apologize for it. But can I really use that to distinguish them? If the unfriendly one needs my cooperation for some reason, then it might make sense for her to *fake* being a friendly less-powerful one...especially if she can predict that pretending to be like that will yield better results.

Alright, I'll post the first draft there and ask for advice.

Alicorn, if I were Bella I'd probably conclude that either everyone has blatant lies so my picture is very, very inaccurate, or (though I'm not sure if this is true OOC) that Alice has a tendency to screw up when a sudden change in decision leaves her not enough time to act. Bella is very slow in coming to her decisions, which normally works in favour, but leaves her easy to manipulate.

Minor Note- At the end of Radiance Chapter 51 "Lawmaker", I was surprised by the fact that nobody seemed to realise the practical implications of vampires still being allowed to take mates by force. If somehow Benjamin had had his way (ludicrous though that is with Bella in charge), human society would have reason to resent the existence of vampires. Stories spreading about a kidnapped married man "brainwashed" (that is most definitely how they'd see it), or if they get really unlucky a figure with considerable human political power fighting to keep it by avoiding turning, would cause constant low-level tension between the two groups which could spark off a war.

Not that it would realistically work, but humans would probably start calling for help and trying to make defensive measures against vampires to avoid being turned. The resultant battles would make things worse unless the Golden Coven stepped in, and the resultant government force would make war even more likely.

EDIT: Minor note- jalepeno_dude, I'm the same person as Neverwonagame3 from NESing. I'm a bit more mature now I think, but I thought you'd be curious to know.

Minor question for somebody. Is the reference I've seen true and there has been some PMMM stuff in the Glowfic universes ("Gem", apparently?)? If so, what links do I use and what do I need to catch up on before I can read it?

Sorry about the trouble, again.

That universe hasn't been threaded yet.

Got it. I saw the reference to "Gem" as opposed to "Rewind" and assumed it was a different one. Sorry about that.
