In Since I found Serenity, does Tina have a sibling, and if so how afraid should I be for their mental well-being and/or the physical well-being of those around them?

Level 3 spoiler: When Cardea Newton was captured by the Alliance, neither she nor her husband knew she was pregnant. The Alliance tortured her for a while, let her have her babies, secretly placed them with an adoptive family, then publicly executed her for treason. Tyr and Eli don't know who their biological parents are, and Anwar doesn't know he's a father.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking of. That plan fits better, but now I’m wondering what a Sherlock would do in that situation. I don’t think you’ve put one in that kind of distress before, or any even somewhat comparable kind of distress at that age.

Unrelatedly, how has Sanity!Varda not learned that “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” means “I am distressed and in a state of panic, which is an unpleasant and volatile incarnate emotional state you do not understand; please find Ambella or some other trusted incarnate and ask for help dealing with this situation”? Or that you should seek permission or at least issue warning before doing something to people they do not expect, such as teleportation? I thought that Varda had already shown she understood that second one, actually.

She understands that; she arrested all the Melkor-associated Maiar and doesn't take extreme distress at being arrested as a reason to not arrest people.

It’s a reason to handle the arrest differently than she has, but they’re eventually getting there.
